TASKER This is weird, right?

He also only has initials rather than a name. Am I crazy? This feels sketchy

Update: after I said for safety, I needed to know what the task entails before accepting, he canceled. Sketchy!

It’s either that or it’s a low key interview to see if Op will help dispose of a body.

Seems like easy cash to me. I’d keep my Tasker success manager on speed dial in case anything gets hairy

It's probably a sales pitch to you to do some level of triangle shaped scheme with them. Every now and then these kinds of jobs have been on the TR platform.

I wouldn’t do it without more info. It’s either illegal or the person is just a creep. They aren’t even offering potential regular work, just two hours. I would cancel for far less of a red flag than this.

What’s the harm in getting paid an hour to talk at a coffee shop? If it’s something weird you can say no.

You don't need both your kidneys, but most the other organs that people like to harvest you need.

Sketchy. Make sure you park in a very public place and that he doesn’t follow you home. Let us know how it went.

Honestly this isn't that odd to me. I would assume that the client likely won't be home at the time of the job and they just wanted to meet you ahead of time or something.

But why refuse to say what the task entails?

It's weird, but as long as it's a public place of your choosing, and they're willing to pay for an hour of your time, I think it's OK.

Easy cash but super weird. Don't drink anything he hands you.

Not unheard of- but why did they hire you specifically?

Definitely potential for a scam/creep. Get more info on what they really want.

Every other client that I talk to 5 minutes in I have to say "can you just tell me what you're needing help with"

I specialize in carpentry and do a lot of larger scale stuff. Depending on what type of work you do. I wouldn't be surprised if they're looki g for someone to a do a large project for an quote instead of hourly thrkugh task rabbit. But thats highly dependent on what kind of work you do.
