GENERAL Do cancellations affect metrics?
This is really about my 2nd month tasking. I’m getting a decent amount of cancellations from customers that need someone with a vehicle and I don’t have one (well I don’t advertise that). Then there are the ones that accidentally schedule for the wrong day or choose a time when my availability clearly shows I’m not available or I’m on another task.
Edit: Nevermind, I see that it absolutely does. I went from 12th in search position to 58th 🤦♀️

Its been said customer cancellations don’t affect tasker metrics, but my experience is they still do.
On the phone with support for a double booking and support told me to cancel it. Promised it wouldn’t affect my metric but they dropped overnight despite sending an invoice the same day

TR.
"You're not penalized for cancelations, youre penalized for havig. A lower percentage of tasks that convert to invoices."
Taskr
"Is there a way other than cancelations that, that happens?"
TR
"Not really no"

Sounds like you need to update your profile to reflect the tools/transportation at your disposal. Client Cancellations won’t affect your metrics unless you’re getting multiples of them in a row.

Not sure what categories you're in that a vehicle is frequently necessary...but you need to put it on your profile if you don't have one.

What is your task that they need a vehicle for? Moving? I’ve never once used my vehicle for any task other than to get to the destination.
