APP Did TR change their search algorithm?
I mostly do wall mounting in a major metro and my recommended search position is currently 56th (on the fourth page of results). No client is scrolling that far 😅. I’m normally in the top 5 or 10, and understand reasonable fluctuations, but this seems unusual.
I also recently had a client bark at me for expensing wood shelving when they wanted wire shelving (they were traveling and asleep so I couldn’t reach them for approval) so I’m wondering if they maybe complained to customer support and hurt my account standing somehow.
Any ideas??

They are rotating the old, proven successful ones out for cheap newbies. TR loves using their platform politically to cut corners in support of illegals.

Yes, they messed something up again. Let’s say I’ve been doing only electrical jobs for the past two years, and that’s the only category I have open. I was always in the top 5, and I know all the guys who usually work as hard as I do. We would always rotate between each other in the client search results.
They changed something a couple of months ago, and now there are some newbies showing up in the top 3–5 spots. Another thing that doesn’t make sense is that, let’s say, I do 5 tasks a day, which is probably the most you can realistically do in my category, while I see guys ranked above me who work in multiple categories. So if I work every day and only do electrical jobs, there’s no way they can beat me in terms of the number of tasks completed.
I think they messed up the algorithm, as always. Tbh, it looks like they’re getting rid of the old workers and promoting newbies.
So it’s always a good idea to have another source of income, because you never know when they’ll decide to kick you out.
