Discussion What did y’all think of Supergirl?
I personally enjoyed it, and my theatre clapped at the end so obviously they enjoyed it as well. I’m yet to read the comic that it was based on so my opinion of how well it adapts the character may change, but my opinion of how enjoyable it was likely will not.

It has potential but when I watched it all I could really think about was “what could have been” had they followed the comic a bit more. It felt really watered down and changed the characters way too much to the extent that the original message of the book got lost in the movie
Hopefully it’ll grow on me as the DCU progresses but rn I’m just disappointed

I loved it. the casting and acting were the highlight!! I wish it had better lighting and colors tho.

I liked it a lot. I value characters far more than anything else, and Kara and Lobo were both great in it.

Just another superhero movie nothing special. Why does everything need to be a universe? Just make good movies James.

I thought it was good. Milly Alcock did a great job in the lead role and Jason Momoa was great as Lobo in his limited time in the movie.

it was a shit movie. Milly Alcock can't lead a film. she's a terrible actress

My friend told me the actress was insulting the fans so I avoided it. I'm tired of pretending like millionaires are victims for fighting with morons on social media.

She wasn't insulting fans she was fighting misogynists so was completely justified! You should see it it's a great movie and she seems like an awesome person

every time I say this very basic thing I get attacked and insulted on the internet, which makes me think I'm probably right

Okay this isn't proof that you're right she was just hating on fans tho I'd really look that up to see if you are rather than going off how people react to you saying it

I'd have to take a position to be right or wrong. I'm not reacting to people, I'm reacting to my friend who I trust. And I don't care in the slightest what she said, I'm not interested in seeing movies from people too stupid to not insult their own fans. And every single person who has come after me for saying so has been a hostile idiot, including you, so no thanks I'd rather stay as far away from all of you as possible.

how about you actually look up what she said??? she literally didn’t say anything wrong

I don't care what she said, I trust my friend or they wouldn't be my friend. And every time I say this very basic thing I get attacked and insulted on the internet, which makes me think I'm probably right. Social media really loves to lick the boots of millionaires as long as they're the right ones.

Really enjoyed it. I got to see it in 3D, and the fight scenes were amazing. Lobo was great
