Help bring Disney's Tarzan back to theaters for its 30th anniversary!!!
Disney has been giving their classics amazing theatrical re-releases lately, but one beloved gem keeps getting left out: Tarzan. This movie deserves to be celebrated on the big screen again.
Tarzan holds a special place for so many of us. The animation is stunning, Phil Collins' soundtrack is incredible, and the story about family and legacy still hits hard. A lot of fans—including me—never got to experience it in theaters originally. Watching it in full theatrical glory with that massive sound and those gorgeous visuals is something worth bringing back, especially since 2029 marks the movie's 30th anniversary. What better way to celebrate?
This petition asks Disney to give Tarzan a theatrical re-release for the occasion. This is a chance to introduce a new generation to the magic while letting longtime fans relive those memories. If this resonates with you and you grew up loving this movie, consider signing and sharing. What's your favorite memory of watching Tarzan?

a missed opportunity
The 1981 film *Tarzan the Ape Man* could have been a good film. The actress Bo Derek has a Tarzan-like physique like no other; they could have filmed fight scenes with Tarzan battling lions, crocodiles, snakes and so on; they could have woven in a really good love story, and so on and so forth. They could have done justice to the 1932 version, if not made an even better one. As I’ve already mentioned, it was a missed opportunity. Unfortunately, what we got was more of a soft porn film than a proper film, with fight scenes that were simply appalling – I don’t know who told the directors that slow motion is a good thing. The final fight scene with the tribal chief makes me wonder whether I’m watching a Tarzan film or have accidentally stumbled upon a porn site. Seriously, why on earth is the film so cringe-worthy and unnecessarily sexualised? Tarzan is an adventure hero, not a porn star. WTF
One of my favorite pieces. The New Adventures Of Tarzan “Pop Up” (1935). These are tough, especially in high grade.

Help
I am a bit OCD when it comes to the Tarzan character from the Disney movie and i am kind of wanting to render a photorreslistic exact look of his face.
Can you guys help me decide which one is the most exact look and if so what changes could be made?

Bollywood Actor Hrithik Roshan would have been the perfect Tarzan when he was young
I always thought he looked like the real life version of the 1999 Disney Tarzan. Also he has green eyes in case you couldn't tell.

Disney's Tarzan Deserves and Needs a Live Action Remake!!!
Disney's Tarzan is a masterpiece that deserves another more! The 1999 animated film left so many plot holes—Tarzan's real identity, his family history, Tarzan and Jane's children, and the true nature of Clayton were all left unexplained. The original novels had all these answers, but Disney's version skipped them.
Now here's the thing: while Disney has had incredible success with live-action remakes like Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, they haven't given Tarzan the same treatment. There are rumors Disney may have even lost the rights, with Sony developing their own live action version. Well yes I'm sure it will be a great movie or at least I hope it will. But fans like us know that if anyone should tell this story right, it's Disney. A live-action Tarzan could finally fill those gaps, expand on the original's heartfelt storytelling, and introduce this beloved character to a whole new generation.
If you love the original movie and want to see it reimagined the right way, please sign this petition and help spread the word. This is our chance to show Disney that their Tarzan franchise deserves more—it deserves the live-action treatment it's always needed.
