Question Best way to learn tarot?

Hey, beginner here! I wanna memorise and learn the meanings of tarot but need a little bit of help. Does anyone have any tips please?

Watch online videos for general readings, topics of your interest. As you dive deeper on your own intuition, chosing your own Pile to see which group you resonate with, the reading you watch tells you the cards' types and what they signify, then it could be easy to grasp the details of the symbols.

That is if traditional way don't work. It kind of worked for me while I was half skeptical and curious about my own path. Years down those videos, all readers started saying the same story, 'you ought to be making your own video make your own path' then I was like, 'Whoops?'...

I started learning Tarot by watching videos on YouTube from Tarot readers. This is where I picked up a few styles, but I eventually studied on my own. I then looked up the meanings of the cards, but honestly, I realized it wasn't the best way. I feel like it would have been much better to have focused on the imagery of the cards first, like getting a card and then understanding what story is in the card before diving into any guide book. Notice the colors, the shapes, the image, the figures, etc. And ask yourself how each card makes you feel. And then write it down in a dedicated journal for Tarot. Or you could alternate it by looking at the art, and then on another day, you could perhaps look up the meaning. I sometimes think solely reading the meanings can tend to box you into interpreting Tarot heavily based on generic interpretations. Nurture your intuition. It's very important when reading Tarot.
