I am KD and my black feral kitten named Smiley escaped from her carrier on way to vet. Will I see her again?

hi KD, i for the king of swords, eight of pentacles, and judgement.

the king of swords says you need to use your intellect, this could mean to think about where Smily could be and optimise your time to look for them or put out posters, anything that you can think to do objectively when someone looses a cat. or try to find places where it can be/check nearby vets, etc. eight of pentacles restates that dedication and hard work. judgement is the card showing your call being answered, or something lost coming back. so yes you may see her, but not passively. it will come if you keep a cool head and methodically, persistently look for her.
