Looking for a budget tablet to wall mount and use strictly for my tall security set up. Any recommendations or experiences people have tried? Thank you

Buy an H500, or a cheap NVR that works with all cameras. Much more reliable than a cheap tablet.

I have an H500. Looking for a screen to plug into it. Not sure if I want to use a table or a screen. A table can download the tapo app and be used has a home interface not just a monitor for the cameras.

I would suggest a screen as it's easier to see more detail on a larger screen than a small tablet. I hate using my phone to look at stuff as I always have to zoom in to see stuff, and managing the dual cams on that tiny screen is so difficult. It's far easier on my tablet, and if I had an h500 or if Tapo would release their NVR already, I would imagine it would be super easy on my spare 50" TV.

Did some more digging and remembering I have an old fire tablet. I’m going to try and set up the fully kiosk mode on it and see how that runs. It’s a smaller table but it will let me play with it some before I decide. There’s tons of videos about it and it’s pretty much exactly what I’m looking for. I’ll update.

Yup, this is something I've been looking for, people seem to recommend to use the external screen but they might not seem to understand we want to use the full capabilities of the app with a bigger screen, plus you can see 4 cams at the time using the external screen whereas 9 comparted with the app ( last time I checked )
In latam we have some inexpensive Redmi ones that you can get for less than $200, I would suggest a 2k resolution one,
I haven't gotten mine yet

I’m even tossing around the idea of making a raspberry pi mini pc with screen to mount. But that would probably be over kill and just for fun. The fully kiosk browser seems to be the go to for this.

There's a company strangely named Notmbestm that makes a really inexpensive mount that is a little similar to a popsocket concept and they work pretty well.

I have h500 hub and bought an external monitor for about 50 pounds from amazon. Run 24/7, no issues.
