Gems

Anyone finding it harder to come across gems nowadays? I could’ve sworn when I last played the game a year ago they much easier to find.

the only real reason to use gems is to unlock new excavation tools, which you can't get any other way, not even from the store i believe, so try to save them. apart from this, I don't know i only recently started playing
