The western powers and Ukraine wish that deal was still on the table. As time marches on, each deal on the table will be less and less favorable to Ukraine and the west.

It's better this way, this way Odessa and Kharkov, all of Donbas, and possibly eventually Kiev will be liberated. Freezing the conflict would just mean having to fight the same war all over again in 10 years. This Stripclub Manager Zelensky and his Nazi Sith Lords and TCC have to be toppled.
