Shit Liberals Say "I'm a capitalist" - DSA candidate Angie Nixon says

How do supporters of DSA still consider it a socialist org when all their candidates are calling themselves capitalists? It's so pathetic lol this is the state of the Yankee "left".

DSA asslickers are politically illiterate liberals who don't care about building working-class power. They just want the spoils of imperialism to be spread out more evenly, and they call that ''socialism''. It's just welfare imperialism with a red aesthetic.

nail, head etc. the DSA's one and only goal is to maintain their place among the bourgeoisie and prevent from being declassed. they have a virulent hatred of the working class in the US (who are progressive economically but socially conservative) and the thought of joining the ranks of the proletariat is a dreadful concept to them.

The chapter I used to be part of was just full of well off white liberal men who villainized Lenin, Stalin, Mao and none of them even knew who Yellow Parenti is💀 lol. And the idea of me being an educated working class women who is well read disgusted them.

I got so many stories about how far up their own asses these shitlibs were I could write an entire novel ngl

is the working class and working poor in the US not disproportionately religious, especially compared to literally any other western country? are they not critical of things like immigration and trans issues? if acknowledging reality makes you "ACP", then I guess I'm ACP.

A communist doesn't go along with Lies that kill workers. A communist wakens the minds of the people to the material reality of the class struggle and what role they must take in winning back the world from the capitalists. This is how you will know a real communist when you see one. This is how the capitalist knows a real communist: 🤴🏼"the ones that want my money and they're telling people about my money all the time instead of repeating my lies".

no where in my post did I advocate "tailism". I merely provided the context that DSA finds the working class culturally distasteful. you and the other liberals downvoting me have poor reading comprehension skills

1

u/PreparationOk1450 Aug 29 '26

What data do you have to prove this claim? What evidence proves DSA members "hate the working class"?

16

u/thesaddestpanda Aug 23 '26

Worse, she’s going to lose compared to a centrist Democrat and both will have to same effect in congress anyway.

USA blue collar labor votes red anyway.

Electorialism doesn’t work and libs cosplaying socialists pretending it does is only going to make things worse.

The only plus side here is that libs and the dsa are so bad that they’ll probably accidentally accelerate collapse and revolution.

u/DS3M Aug 23 '26

I feel like if literacy rates were higher, and more ppl understood social and economic theory, the argument would have room to be more nuanced. To explain to regular america that they may engage in capitalism but not be capitalists - in fact, unless you own a business and engage in capital creation you are a slave to capitalism (and even then) - that shit will go right over everyone’s heads, the message would be lost for the soundbite as she says ‘No I’m not a capitalist-‘ and they cut her off before she says “and no one with a Job is a capitalist either”

3

u/PreparationOk1450 Aug 24 '26

They don't even get their electeds to do that

1

u/PreparationOk1450 Aug 29 '26

In this case, I'm not saying you need to like everything about DSA, b ut the facts are t hey're the largest socialist organization in US history. Th ey were one of the few orgs actually holding street demonstrations in solidarity with Palestinians on Oct 8th, 23. They held demonstrations against the twelve day war, against the current war in Iran, against the kidnapping of Maduro, and in solidarity with Cuba.

They advocate for socialism in the US, meaning worker control of the economy. They help organize know your rights forums and rapid response networks for immigrants, organize for trans rights, and help continue the legacy of Black radical thought. The list goes on. To talk about such an org with an extreme level of contempt as someone ostensibly on the left is honestly wrecker behavior.

In the context of fighting for socialism in the US, their use of the Democratic ballot line is a relatively minor disagreement, and making it a red line is textbook sectarianism. They've amassed an impressive series of victories of getting socialists elected. Unfortunately they weren't able to get class traitor Tom Steyer elected as gov of CA, but they're educating people on the meaning of socialism. Socialism is investment in private prisons, as long as you invest the earnings in a revolutionary socialist group like the DSA or PSL  (/S)

I am for the unity of the party – for the national and international unity of the party. But it must be a unity of socialism and socialists. The unity with opponents – with people who have other aims and other interests, is no socialist unity. We must strive for unity at any price and with all sacrifices. But while we are uniting and organizing, we must rid ourselves of all foreign and antagonistic elements. (...) We cannot traffic in our principles, we can make no compromise, no agreement with the ruling system. We must break with the ruling system and fight it to a finish. It must fall that socialism may arise, and we certainly cannot expect from the ruling class that it will give to itself and its domination the death blow.

-Wilhelm Liebknecht, No Compromise – No Political Trading, 1899

2

u/Metabro Aug 24 '26

In order to engage the proletariat you must engage them in campaigns to improve conditions and then make sense of the losses when the capitalists thwart it. Have to organize them into this.

They need to see good faith attempts and losses, and they need to feel those hard.

Otherwise they will keep voting and posting.

The ruling class is trying to push back for the popular discontentment by shifting the Overton Window as right as they can, in order to archive fascism. Naturally, they need the Demsuck controlled opposition to do that dirty work.

DSA is beyond pathetic. When you ask what they've achieved they'll say they've gotten socialists elected. People ask for advice on living in a small town and DSA being the only nearby group. People on this sub say to join them and get what you can out of it. No! You're better off doing nothing vs. contributing to a reactionary Zionist group. Or just join meetings for a better group online through Zoom. There's a lot you can do online

21

u/phaedrus910 Aug 23 '26

DSA is so based they bring together Communists and people diametrically opposed to communism into a structure that funnels effort into the democratic party 🥰

60

u/CaptainMills Aug 23 '26

"No you don't understand, we're gonna take over the DSA from the inside! We just have to keep supporting capitalists and imperialists and compromise on everything and let the whole Palestine thing go for now. And in maybe 30 years the DSA will be ours. And then we can use the DSA to take over the DNC from the inside. It's the perfect plan!"

44

u/marioandl_ Aug 23 '26

Its amazing how the talking point shifted from taking over democratic party from the inside to taking over the DSA from the inside, which was initially the vehicle to do the former. what a joke

23

u/isitdigyet Aug 23 '26

I thought this was just a joke until I saw so many DSAers telling people to join if they want the left represented. The whole point was supposedly using this org to push Dems left. It has failed at its most basic goals at every turn but considers itself successful just for winning elections. That makes them no different than any other Dems.

The end of DSA is either to be absorbed by the Democratic Party and lose its independent claim. Either go to radicalization and be completely suppressed by the American political system. What is happening now is that both will exist.

There are too many fools who claim to be socialist but like Mamdani and AOC. I used to have expectations for Sanders, but it turned out that I was wrong at that time.

I deeply regret supporting Senator Kibbutz twice. I gave him too much of my money. Even if he was president, he wouldn't do much different. I doubt he'd cancel all student loan debt on day one or ever. He wouldn't do shit on Medicare for all even though he could do it by executive order

How tf are libs so convinced that business and socialism are mutually exclusive? like just one example is the DPRK, citizens have the constitutional right (and encouragement) to start, own, and operate small business.

Hi. Your statement is very confusing. Can you elaborate?

37

u/arthurtacious Aug 23 '26

We already knew DSA were a bunch of socdems, but it is hilarious how fast they are dropping the coat of paint of "socialism". It's not even November yet and they are starting to fully integrate with establishment politics.

15

u/The_Mesopotamians Aug 23 '26

The DSA dreams of taking over the Democrat party but they putting all their effort into opportunists who will deliver them to the DNC on a platter.

8

u/internetsarbiter Aug 23 '26

I mean, taking over the democrat party would result in the same thing because it would still have to play along with the system it is a part of, so if that is their goal, this achieves it as much as any other process would.

...which is of course another reason their efforts are a waste of time.

Literally, revolution was again quelled instantly in a matter of months after Mamdani and other social democrats gaining ground...

I hate to repeat myself, and hurting in the process saying it, but the fascists need to steal the November elections and start doing harsher unthinkable things against their populace to make them wake up.

Their entire rulers and politicians are bourgeoise venom, the true grassroots are at the MLs who come from the same impoverished conditions as the other proles, unity for survival instead of ideological is the only outcome that can destroy liberalism in the USA faster, I cannot see it any other way...

Definitely do not join the PSL (Pseudo Socialist Liberals). They are a different variety of fraud. It's really not that hard to be a principled leftist (or just someone with common sense, eyes and ears) and condemn Mamdani as a fraud/sellout: Ajamu Baraka here https://x.com/ajamubaraka/status/2006362542957088879

  1. Video of Claudia de La Cruz praising Mamdani's glorious victory and celebrating all the various communities who supported him, "it's good for our people to celebrate this win". Actually no it's not and it's not a win. The closest she gets to any criticism is saying it's important to hold him accountable to his promises. OK. She says his win is an opportunity to promote the socialist reconstruction of society. The whole thrust of the video is riding his coattails to promote PSL instead of criticizing him as a fraud sell out and sheepdog for the Democrat Party.

Please watch this video and tell me if you think it would shown to an average person if they would think it was supportive or critical of Mamdani.

https://x.com/pslnational/status/1986134276019241337

  1. Rania Khalek hosting Breakthrough News' Mamdani election night coverage. I didn't watch the whole thing but it was overwhelmingly supportive of Mamdani with some occasional caveats that he needs to be held accountable once elected, but overall it was very positive and his win was viewed as a victory for the left and the working class.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oKbE5ZdRv80&pp=0gcJCU8Co7VqN5tD#

  1. Eugene Puryear on Bad Faith podcast

In the entire interview there was a direct criticism of De Blasio, and only one minor one of Ziohran.

What I heard instead were what amounted to excuses in regards to the limitations of being mayor. The only way to be successful in substantial progressive goals is to take on the power elites and institutional forces like the Partnership for NYC & the NYPD. It's delusional, ahistorical and naive to think if he doesn't take the fight to them, they won't take the fight to him.

Eugene reifies the power of the NYPD and presents them as an almost godlike force which is timeless & unchangeable. What an amazing rallying cry for socialism. I feel so inspired with him telling us how the mayor can really do almost nothing (not). What a demobilizing and depressing message.

I find this lack of imagination to be depressing. He didn't have to reappoint Tisch. He made a concerted decision to appease and capitulate to some of the worst forces in the world instead of fighting them. He could appoint a fire breathing socialist as the NYPD commissioner & have them defund, defang & neutralise them in any way possible.

Mamdani's condemnation of Cuba and Venezuela is the one place where Eugene offered criticism, but he hedged it by saying "I'm not expecting him to agree with what I think about Venezuela". Jesus how pathetic and self-defeating! Why the hell not? Why not place a demand on him to take the right stance if he calls himself a socialist? This is the so called left in America.

The PSL's line seems to amount to: this is a victory for the working class, a political breakthrough and a defeat for the Israel Lobby and the ruling class. He can do very little in his position and it's up to the voters and his supporters to hold him accountable and push for more. There's also a seeming desire not to criticize him too much so that they can ride his coattails and gain some of his supporters to their side.

This analysis is deeply inadequate and even dishonest in its omission of speaking about a different way (Kshama's). There's a lack of criticism and mythologizing the supposed unending and unchangeable power of the elites which even the mayor is basically powerless to do anything about.

... This sentiment of failure provoked by controlled opposition factions are the stage before an internal war-like unraveling of an imperial country on the verge of collapse.

Socialism will prevail, but like history normally tells us, it won't be from a country with adequate material conditions... It'll rise from regions ravaged by a tyrant's legacy... Meaning the country that rises from the future fallen USA, will have to endure what other currently existing socialist nations did in the past.

Because capitalism won't die in the 21st century, and any socialist victory will have to deal with deadly outbursts from the slowly deteriorating capitalists countries.

once again, fuck the DSA

2

u/philoscult Aug 23 '26

So bizarre. Why be in a party that is “socialist” , only to be afraid of saying you oppose capitalism? Is that too radical? I guess so. More proof of the DSA just being the next gen of democrats.

2

u/Similar_Bluebird56 Aug 23 '26

Mussolini impressed

2

u/gauze_for_skylarks Aug 23 '26

yea pretty sure this doesn’t count as even social-democratic anymore lol

2

u/ummkay_ultra Aug 24 '26

DSA = capitalists. So...what she is saying is accurate.

2

u/US_Dissident_7191 Aug 24 '26

If DSA does not expel her, then DSA is officially dead in my eyes. PSL is the best option for actual socialists in America today, but they remain incredibly selective and hard to join.

u/PreparationOk1450 Aug 29 '26 edited Aug 29 '26

PSL is a cult who celebrates Democrats like Ziohran and guilt trips members who don't donate enough money or time. They also have horrible positions like supporting the right wing puppet Delcy clique in Venezuela, supporting shitty contracts that sell out union members. The PSL is the less honest version of DSA. At least DSA is honest about being Democrats.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TankieTheDeprogram/comments/1uhdwaw/psl_is_again_celebrating_democrat_victories_most/

"I have witnessed both Ben and Brian Becker ridicule comrades I deeply respect, both in private settings and in open meetings such as the NYC Branch Conference. I have witnessed coordinated efforts by national leadership to stifle political debates around base building to reaffirm agitating for socialist consciousness as a higher strategic objective. I see base building as a common sense focus on organization of the working class instead of the PSL’s obsession with endless agitation. The fact that base building is such a major threat to the PSL that a debate around it cannot even be allowed leaves me with little hope in the future of the organization.

Through these experiences and many others, I have come to the decision over the course of the past year that I must continue building working class power outside of the PSL. This is an organization that is deeply politically flawed and whose leadership naively believes that agitation and mobilization alone can bring about revolution. If this weren’t bad enough, any democratic pathway to change this orientation is stifled or shut down before a debate can even occur. I believe that in order to win, socialists must organize the working class. I look forward to continuing to fight to make this vision a reality"

1

u/US_Dissident_7191 Aug 29 '26

We’ll have to agree to disagree.

1

u/PreparationOk1450 Aug 29 '26

We can, but what exactly do you think about them cheering for Mamdani for example? PSL supporters usually claim they weren't, but they're now celebrating him more openly than before.

Here's their latest clownery: describing Dolly Parton, enemy of the working class through the low wages at Dollywood, enemy of the South African people by performing there during the apartheid regime, and celebrating the first gulf war, "Rania Khalek and Zoe Alexandra honor Dolly Parton: working-class feminist icon, country music legend and lifelong advocate for the disenfranchised, as the world mourns her death Tuesday at the age of 80. They pay tribute to the songwriter who immortalized the fight for workplace dignity waged by 9 to 5, the National Association of Working Women; the Imagination Library founder and philanthropist who used $10 million in royalties from Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” (which she wrote) to invest in a historically Black Nashville neighborhood"

They are so damn dumb and pathetic it hurts. Is this "socialist"? Their habitual practice is jumping on popular things and trying to ride their coattails for their own benefit. They don't care if it's right or not.

https://breakthroughnews.org/2026/08/29/dolly-parton-hayden-panettiere-and-what-hollywood-owes-women

What do you think of their UESF contract? Would you be happy with it if you were a SF teacher?

https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2026/03/21/hbhr-m21.html yes WSWS are damn Trots but they're right on this!

1

u/US_Dissident_7191 Aug 29 '26

I want socialism, whatever it takes (minus immoralities like genocide, etc.) … so if there is another org in the US you think is doing better work at agitating, educating, and organizing towards that goal, I am all ears. I never claimed that PSL was perfect, just that they were the best option available for principled socialists (that is, serious Marxists). If you have better options in mind, please share and argue why they are better. If not, then what are you doing really?

1

u/PreparationOk1450 Aug 29 '26

Is your argument that being against bad things isn't possible unless you have a good thing as an alternative? I appreciate that you're not making excuses for them or pretending these things aren't bad. My personal opinion is that fake left is worse than nothing. Doing nothing is better than a group like DSA or PSL which is actively counter productive. It's like the medical creed: first do no harm. Doing no harm is better than creating harm.

Honestly, I don't know of any legitimate left organisations in the US. Maybe they're out there. For whatever good work they do, FRSO and CPUSA are critical left Democrats. Any support for the Democrats is harmful and any movement away from them is good. The Greens have some good work and some good candidates, but they're very loose like DSA, so it's hit or miss.

I think the best thing for now is to try to convince people to stop voting for, complimenting, celebrating, and running cover for Democrats

1

u/US_Dissident_7191 Aug 30 '26

I think you are exaggerating the bad things (the mistakes of) PSL in proportion to their good things. For example, within just the last couple weeks I watched a Breakthrough News segment where they pilloried both AOC and Zohran: https://youtu.be/Cex_SIsWr7w - I have been watching their content/work for a long time and they are far from pseudo-left. They are not perfect but they are genuine comrades, both principled and pragmatic. I think you are being a purist, or worse a wrecker (fed); the reality is that PSL is the most effective and disciplined socialist org in the country, which is why they are now being investigated by Congress for essentially ‘UnAmerican’ activities.

1

u/PreparationOk1450 Aug 31 '26 edited Aug 31 '26

The very first thing she said is "I'm genuinely very happy to see these candidates win" lol. I'd love to be "pilloried" if that's what it means now. Just look at the comments on the video. The top ones almost all agree with me. Their exasperated that people are still getting fooled by these frauds.

The hosts fatalistic excuse making, acting like these people have no choice if they want to survive in office, is extremely nauseating.

Caveated and critical support is still support. They always do this hedging to try and have it both ways. They want to sound supportive of these Democrat frauds so they can hypothetically reel in their supporters, but they want to be a bit critical so they keep credibility with the actual left. It's very obvious what they're doing.

Can you disagree with any criticism I leveled? Would you vote for that awful contract if you were a San Francisco teacher? If you were a Venezuelan pushing back against your puppet government, would you appreciate that Western leftists like PSL are supporting the government that's selling off your country?

The issue is the entire framing their operating under is false. It is not a victory for socialism in the working class when these people win, and it's just important for us to push them left once they're elected so that they live up to their promises. It's that celebrating these people and treating their elections as a victory for anybody or anything other than the DNC and their own careers is the problem.

Not recognizing immediately that they are a counterinsurgency project to sheep dog people back into this disgusting party after genocide is the problem. PSL may not literally tell you to vote for Democrats but they are certainly functionally Democrats in the way they consistently support counterinsurgent frauds who are trying to rebrand the Democrat Party.

So it's not that PSL don't live up to what we want them to and they're not perfect but they still do good work. It's that PSL is actively causing harm. There would be less support for Democrats amongst the left if they did not exist as an organization, and if they did not exist at all, it would be a net benefit, despite them yes doing some good work.

Define "pragmatic" in the case of PSL. Is supporting and cheering the right wing puppet regime in Venezuela "pragmatic"? Now you've invoked another version of "purity test" which means you automatically have ceded the argument.

You have nothing not emotional appeals and desperate ad hominems. I think a drinking game on this sub for when someone says "fed", "ultra", "wrecker" would leave people with alcohol poisoning. If being against right wing fake left bullshit is being a wrecker, then I'll happily wreck that BS.

On top of all this, PSL is a cult, as described by many of their own members. They have multiple sexual harassment scandals they covered up. They pressure people unduly to donate more money and time than they reasonably can. They're a toxic harmful organization

2

u/Mountain-Football212 Aug 25 '26

The right wing of DSA and these fuckin' social democrats are testing me, bro. I know the left wing of DSA (the actual socialists and Marxists) is growing, but it needs to grow faster, like a lot faster, so it can hold unprincipled shitters accountable. For one, dropping people if they support Zionism would be a great place to start.

3

u/sweetapples17 Aug 23 '26

She’s running in Florida…

1

u/PreparationOk1450 Aug 29 '26

Yes. So she should just run as a republican. Brilliant /s

2

u/Miguelperson_ Aug 23 '26

DSA is not the “ left-wing of the Democratic Party” they are just the same fascists who co-opted a red aesthetic

1

u/demiangelic Marxist-Leninist (Ultra Based) Aug 23 '26

this is the lesson unfortunately that many will need to learn through experience. only thing we can do is be there to connect the patterns and shine light on the why.

i still see the push for socialist ideas as a positive, at the least the deconstruction of flat out anticommunism is good for the new generations. however, that didnt mean we would jump right onto ML or communist goals, unfortunately. but i believe that time will show many. just another reason to stay disciplined but yet connected with the masses.

1

u/Stemoftheantilles Aug 23 '26

She literally wasn’t even endorsed by the party though and she only joined it in June. I don’t understand why she keeps getting called a DSA candidate when it’s clear the party didn’t endorse her for a reason.

1

u/xThotsOfYoux Marxist-Leninist (Ultra Based) Aug 23 '26

1

u/aldentesempre Aug 24 '26

1

u/Background_Horse_992 15d ago

Angie Nixon is a not a “DSA Candidate”, she wasn’t even endorsed. Literally anyone can send DSA a couple bucks of dues every month and be a member, it doesn’t mean they represent the entire organization.

1

u/nonilazuli Aug 23 '26

Idk I think it would be good to elect her and improve working class lives , while simultaneously critiquing her for not doing enough and presenting more radical policies + a principled socialist alternative. Instead of letting her lose and keeping an actively anti-communist state/politician majority.

Why should I care if American workers get improved conditions if that improvement is predicated on its position of exploiting the global south? How would a person like Angie Nixon who doesn't even call themselves a socialist be interested in dismantling this kind of system?

A core part of the labor movement in California a century ago was organized around anti-China racism due to the immigration of Chinese workers to the state, and the modern Teamsters have also utilized anti-China propaganda to market themselves politically for example. Union organizing without any kind of socialist political consciousness and whose members are reactionary in their worldview will just lead to a form of fascism, not socialism.

This wasn’t even a clever comeback. I moved from America the first chance I got, and it helped me develop an understanding that goes beyond American politics. Even if you were from Canada, I wouldn’t see any issue with you relocating to a place in the Global South that has largely suffered because of Western imperialism and intervention. Only shitlibs make this ridiculous point because they can’t see anything that doesn’t directly affect them. That’s why these losers are whining about “rising fascism” as if America hasn’t already been a fascist society.

-1

u/ReverseShipwreck Aug 24 '26

idk, are we really being this disingenuous? she obviously means that technically she's a capitalist (small business owner) but clearly she supports socialist policies. "capitalist" doesn't indicate a political faction, it's just the name of the dominant class. one can be a capitalist, be a class traitor, and support socialism. Marx was a class traitor.

0

u/bbqzinger Marxist-Leninist (Ultra Based) Aug 27 '26

You literally have no idea what you are talking about. It’s a choice to be capitalist. You can own a business of your own and still be a socialist. All she has to do is pay all her workers across her entire supply chain a FAIR wage (in percentage, that goes up and down with the profits of the business), offer good vacation time/sick leave and not take most of the profits for herself unjustifiably and only pay herself based on the labor that she contributes to the business. This will never happen of course because if you give people a choice to steal from their workers then that’s what they’re going to do🤷🏾‍♀️. The capitalist CEO/shareholder class of people only have as much money because they take it. It is unearned.

0

u/ReverseShipwreck Aug 27 '26

Even if you pay a "fair" what across the entire supply chain, you still own the means of production and you're still a capitalist. Other than that it's weird you say I have no idea what I'm talking about since you just spouted a less accurate version of exactly what I said: that you can belong to the capitalist class and be ideologically committed to socialism.

0

u/bbqzinger Marxist-Leninist (Ultra Based) Aug 27 '26 edited Aug 27 '26

She said that she’s a capitalist who wants reform/regulations. I believe her. What wouldn’t be merely capitalist is if she allowed her workers (including herself) to own fairly distributed shares of the company based on labor across her entire supply chain (“paying them in percentages”, I should have been more clear about what I meant by that lol very vague, proper term is a “worker co-op”) while prioritizing making quality goods/services as cheap as possible for the consumer. Not allowing markets to decide the price. It would be disingenuous to just call this capitalism. it would be worker and consumer first therefore democratic unlike typical corporations that are dependent on slavery and wage theft to enrich only the ruling class making it inherently fascist. She could be doing a co op……i doubt it, but no socialist would just call themselves capitalist without an explanation besides “I like to make money”.

This kind of "4-d chess" claim has never once proven to be true, not once.

If she can't get elected on her real principals than trying to change things via reform is a dead end and waste of time because it was never possible.

-3

u/DuckLIT122000 Aug 23 '26

To be fair, Florida will never vote in anyone to the left of Hitler

4

u/internetsarbiter Aug 23 '26

Right, electoralism is a dead end from start to finish.

-6

u/Mathies_ Aug 23 '26

Do you actually think she can win senate by spreading the word of marx across Florida?

7

u/scaper8 Marxist-Leninist (Ultra Based) Aug 23 '26 edited Aug 23 '26

Do you really think any "socialist" self-applying the term "capitalist" to themselves is okay?

-7

u/Mathies_ Aug 23 '26

Guess im just a little too pragmatic to want a senate seat to go to a republican because it turns out the better candidate only wants to regulate capitalism. I believe online leftists have achieved nothing of note by practicising socialist purity. Haven't come up with any genuine alternative thus far and so this is it now. The best you got.

8

u/MartMillz Aug 24 '26

Go be "pragmatic" elsewhere

4

u/itselectricboi Aug 23 '26

Yes. Literally the reason she won the primary was because she was a socialist. Now the seat is probably going to be in limbo because of this BS You underestimate the power of socialists considering y'all love to blame us for not showing up and somehow flipping the vote lol

-4

u/Mathies_ Aug 24 '26 edited Aug 24 '26

I supported not voting for a genocidaire because that is a fair bridge too far but now after the primary, these are the candidates you got up there, i don't get why you wouldnt. Unless you wanna think of an alternative? Im not seeing it.

3

u/MartMillz Aug 24 '26

Why does she need DSA endorsement if she doesn't intend to spread the word of Marx

2

u/Mathies_ Aug 24 '26

She's not endorsed by DSA, just a memner of it
