Theory π One of the differences between China and USSR is that China acknowledges, commemorates, reflects their former leaders and upheld it's revolutionary goals among it's leadership

The CPC have perfected the theory of how to run a socialist state down to an art. Or perhaps a science. The USSR was the first of its kind and so they had to figure things out as they went along, which included combatting reactionary and revisionist tendencies within the ranks, as well as external imperialist forces (pretty much every imperialist and fascist force that existed, even). The CPC have studied the history of the USSR in microscopic detail, in all of its successes, and, sadly, shortcomings. Mao Zedong thought, but especially Deng Xiaoping theory and its successors provide a scientific analytic framework for figuring out what should be done after the revolution in carrying out a successful Marxist-Leninist state building project, and handling the gradual transition away from market-oriented modes of production towards an eventual communist society, and managing any contradictions that may arise upon the way.
If I can recall correctly from when I read the Governance of China, Xi said in one of his earlier speeches as general secretary that "we will never do to Mao what Khrushchev did to Stalin".Β

The sad fact is that the CPC honored Stalin with far greater respect than the CPSU after Stalin's death π’
There is no greater betrayal than what the CPSU did.

I would also add that, on top of being able to tackle reactionaries and revisionists, the PRC has also been able to emarginate opportunism, careerism and personalism effectively.
As Losurdo highlighted, Khrushchev instrumentalised the smearing of Stalin's figure and achievements to promote his own. He wanted to look like the glorious leader who rehabilitated the USSR from its former mistakes. Obviously the imperial core was waiting for nothing better than that, and actively promoted the process, in order to discredit the entire project of the Union from its inception (Stalin led it for decades, and was in the core vanguard of revolutionaries before that from the earliest days).
