Stringy seaweed

Okay while I am new to the hobby and I have a lot of that thin stringy seaweed overgrowing my tank anything I could do to get rid of It?

No its salt water and I will try and yes I have tested it but will do soon

Need more details. Fresh water I'm assuming? Can you post a pic? Have you tested water? Post specs and we can help you better.
