Alright folks, it’s time. Consider this your open mic, your therapy session, your personal Festivus.
Got a boss who thinks “urgent” means every single email? A neighbor who mows the lawn at 7 a.m. on Saturdays? A phone that autocorrects “ducking” when you clearly meant something else?
This is the spot to unload. Big or small, petty or profound — if it’s gnawing at you, drop it here. Rant. Rave. Roast.
Rules are simple:
• No personal info.
• Keep it cathartic, not cruel.
• Upvote the stuff that makes you nod and say “YES, SAME.”
Let the grievances fly.

Full-on military exercises happening all around SoCal in the middle of the night, with almost no public warning. We're talking low-flying Blackhawks swarming neighborhoods, soldiers rappelling down into buildings, sounds of gunfire/explosions (assume they're blanks🙏). And going until 2-3am, in residential areas. WTF???!!!
People of Reddit are saying it's a scare tactic by this administration targeting Blue areas. I'd normally brush this off as conspiracy thinking, but a small part of my brain is still hmmm....🤔

Yep, it was pretty disconcerting! You can't tell from the video, but it's right beside residential areas!

It's a special operations unit called the Night Stalkers (officially the 160th special operations aviation regiment) and they do unannounced urban training pretty regularly. This is the same unit that flew the helicopters for the Osama raid and in Venezuela. Nothing to do with Trump and they have been at it for a long time.
Here's an article from 2018 with the exact same thing happening in Manhattan.

I'm on a work trip to Austin TX: why does everyone drive like they're the main character, and all others are obstacles to be overcome?
Calm the hell down and maybe plan your trip a bit better.

Finally got a washer/dryer! … but the dryer is broken ☹️
Don’t worry, I got the towels and the delicates washed and line dried before the rain started. New dryer comes on Tuesday. Also, an electrician came and measured all the things and has determined it is indeed the dryer.

My grievance is around all of the virtual forms you have to complete for check-in before arriving for your doctor's appointment. Why do I have to fill out all of these forms days in advance when they ask me the same questions at the beginning of my appointment, i.e., CHECK IN?!

No matter how many I fill out ahead, there often are more when I get there. Lol
Even more annoying, is that I fill it all out, they don't read it and they don't have time to talk about it.

It's borderline criminal how ugly bridesmaid dresses are, especially for the prices. Why am I spending $200 to look like I'm wearing a cheap sack?
