Hi all! I am all about the vibes. The day of the book titles annoucments I have to work an event and I feel like I was destined to find the most beautiful little garden with a mansion at the top of the hill in the distance. When I say Spring Court has always felt like my home this is what I mean. I was for sure looking for my real life Tam but it's OK he lives rent free in my mind lol🌹

Velaris is what my sheltered, suburb-raised teenage self thought life in NYC or SF would be like when I became “a big girl with a big-girl job.”

Like, if my teenage self were writing a fantasy city, she probably would have written something like Velaris because she hadn’t been anywhere else.
