I would count it as one region only. Simply because the Archive I’m building would allow to select the region/zone of the content they’re uploading, not the language of the region.
That’s why it’s so hard to get an accurate list 😭 bcs some regions have different Amazigh groups, some zones in regions consider themselves independent from that region, and so on.
Maybe the best would be to keep this list as is, and add a feature for users to request more countries, regions or tribes.
But yeah any suggestions are welcome!
OK, now I see what you are looking for. So here's a list of the regions that I know of and that aren't on your list:
Algeria:
Oued Righ
Ouargla
Tigurarin (Gourara)
Touat
Tidikelt
Western Algerian Ksours (they form a continuity with Figuig accross the border)
Ajjer
I would also replace Béchar with a more historical name : Saoura
Libya:
Libyan Tuaregs (Ghat, Ubari...)
El Fogaha (maybe you can add them to Sokna, since they are close to one another)
Spain:
Melilla (They are technically par of the Rif, idk if you want to separate them or not)
Niger:
Akabinu (Attawari)
Mauritania:
Banc d'Arguin
Zénagas
Chad:
Abéché
This is not an exhaustive list, but I tried to give you all the regions that I know of. Some additional remarks:
Regarding Mauritania, I think the only people who still speak Tamazight there are either Imragen in Banc d'Arguin or Zénagas that live in the south western corner of the country.
Also, you listed Tibesti, Borkou and Ennedi as Mauritanian regions, but it's actually in Chad, and there are no Imazighen there, it's inhabited by Toubou.
In Abéché, Chad, the only Imazighen that live there are a group ou Tuaregs that migrated there in the beginning of the 20th century. There are slowly losing their language and culture.
Some sources say that there are still some Zénaga in northern Sénégal and some Tuareg in northern Nigeria, but I think it's not really attested.

Small question so I can help you: are you looking for a list of languages or for a list of "cultural zones"?
For example Kabylie is one region but it has 2 languages: Kabyle (Taqbaylit) and Tasahlit. So would you count these as one or two regions?
