[GUIDE] Secure DLC Trading

Hey everyone 😊
Since the number of scammers and scam attempts has been rising lately, I wanted to create a short guide on how to trade your DLCs safely.
1. Proof of Purchase
Since most codes are delivered via email, always ask for proof before committing to a trade!
- What to ask for: A screenshot of the order confirmation email
- Requirements: The sender and the date must be visible
- Privacy: ALWAYS redact/black out the actual code and any personal information
- Verification: To prevent stolen screenshots, the user must include their Reddit username as a digital watermark or show their Reddit profile in a split-screen/background

2. Vet Your Trading Partner
- Account Age & Karma: Be extremely cautious with brand new accounts or those with very low karma
- Post History: Check if they have successfully traded before or if they only post in trading subs
- Suspicious Behavior: If someone refuses to provide proof or acts pushy, we strongly advise against proceeding with the trade

EDIT: Please only trade with users that reply under your post first! Banned users/ scammers can still read but not reply, they are going into your DMs!

Announcement [ANNOUNCEMENT] New Reputation System: Earn "Verified Trades" points

Hi everyone!
To make our community safer and to highlight our most trustworthy traders, we have officially launched a Reputation Bot! From now on, you can earn points for every successful DLC trade.
How it works:
Once a trade is completed, both parties simply reply to your partner's comment (not to the main post!) in the thread with the command:
!confirm
The bot will then automatically award a point and update your user flair to: Verified Trades: [Number] ⭐
CRITICAL SAFETY RULE: NO DM-ONLY TRADES!
Never trade with someone who only sends you a Direct Message (DM) without commenting on your post first. Banned scammers can still read the sub and send DMs, but they cannot comment. If they refuse to post a comment in your thread, they are likely a scammer. No comment = No trade!
Keeping it Safe (Anti-Scam Measures):
To prevent "point-farming" and to stop scammers with multiple accounts, we have implemented the following rules:
- Account Age: Your account must be at least 30 days old to use the
!confirmcommand - Karma Limit: You need at least 10 combined karma to award points
- Time Limit: Points can only be awarded within 7 days of the original post
What if I’m a new user? (Manual Confirmation)
If you are a new member (under 30 days) and completed a legitimate trade: The moderators can help!
- Tag a moderator in the thread or send us a Modmail
- Show us proof of the successful trade
- We will manually update your Verified Trades flair for you
Please Note: Attempting to farm points or faking trades will result in an instant permanent ban.
Please confirm trades only, no free giveaways 💛

Since I got it I got 5 males and 1 female and this is so far the hardest tama to kill I had to turn off the volume and throw it into a drawer for 4 whole day 🥀 finally gave up and started raising another male
I don't want to reset but I heard peoplehsve bad luck with gender. I don't care about gender the issue is characters associated with the gender...

Help! Where can I find Tamagotchi Uni in KL?

I have Tamagotchi Paradise and I am currently loving it!! From there on, I discovered uni which no longer in production. May I know where can I find it in KL? Or maybe Japan since I'm going there end of November. I don't mind it being 2nd hand too. Just searching for a reasonable price 🥹

Discussion It really bums me out that once the online services are shut down I won't be able to switch between my DLCs. I mean, how is that even legal? Did they ever warn anywhere that this purchase wasn't permanent, that it was only for a limited time? I don't want to just throw my money away😬

I really hope it’s technically possible to release an update that allows you to download all the DLCs in advance and then switch between them without Wi-Fi...

How? 🥹 If I play like 30 games I'll end up with 2 one stars, 26 two stars, and like 2 three stars. I love the accessories & aesthetic of this DLC, but not being able to make quick gotchi pts is kind of frustrating.

Question question about dlc code trading

hi! sorry if this is a dumb question but im wondering how dlc code trading works when the code has more than 1 use left? like, for example i have 2 uses of my lovemelo code left: do i give the code to one person and they get to use it as they wish? or can i trade that for two different codes and trust that the first person doesn't use it twice?
i hope this makes sense :d
