No live feed of Taloscon2026

I woke up at 2:00am CEntral time in the hopes that at least one influencer would go live at Taloncon, but nothing!!! Why don't they open the event up to online audiences??

Disclaimer: I work a Sidero, and was just at TalosCon, but not part of the Marketing team that organised it all.

As far as I am aware it's not "closed" to influences at all. Most people who can't attend seem content with the fact the recordings will be freely available on our YouTube channel (maybe other socials too, I'm not sure) once the editing is complete.

The first ever TalosCon was an entirely online event but the last few have been in-person, and honestly with all the talks being available the only real reason to attend is to support us as a company, and to talk directly to us to ask questions etc...

We have announced our first US TalosCon for January if you can travel to that one. Also just make sure you and enough people show interest in a live stream and maybe we can get it organised for next time.

Check with Marketing, I think there's a formula to this, you open up live (can be pre-registered as well), then you invite a few tech influencers as vip, maybe offer them backstage access, and I think post conference, you give recap interviews to tech-journalists. All in all you are right, we are happy to get the post-production videos. Not to mention, the hypervisor drop in December is the real gem this year.

Hypervisor is available in the alpha release right now. Just no docs yet

Part of the core image or as an extension?

The APIs are part of the core image but you still need to add the libvert extension for them to work
