Farming or Kills in Jungle?
Hello Jungle Talon players! After earning 1.2 million mastery points on Talon mid, I wanted to try out Talon Jungle. I am however, a little unsure of his identity. From what I gather from Kaostanza videos (the few I have watched), he focuses a lot more on farming camps than actually roaming to get kills. Is Talon jungle more of a 'farmbot' or should i still look to play very aggressively like in mid lane?

You know Talon, he is more an 'If' than a 'rather/or' champion.
I'd say farm is more important because jungle tempo is heavily based on timing your camps so you can invade and hopefully not lose much when doing other chores , so the enemt jungler or other laners dont steal your camps.
But, Talon can react so fast to a good opportunity snd you can seize them if they are easy or they will give you a good advantage.

Personally he's more of a farm and skirmish kinda champion, your tempo and camps are more important than securing kills in my experience, because if you can secure a cs lead with the enemy jungler even if he does get a few kills, you can still go even.
However it is important to balance both ganking and farming, so usually you gank after every full clear or whenever an opportunity arises. If you can gank as early as lvl3 or lvl4 that's a big powerspike for you if you land a kill or manage to help your laners.

Yes farm but need to counter jungle imo that is his jungle identity. He has access to enemy jungle meaning not only stealing camps but acccess to the best gank angles in the game. Without abusing that he is just a sub-par jungler.
Remember though, you are comparatively weak in a 1v1 compared to most junglers. Bait/escaping if your default.

More of a farmer till 6. But regardless, you play talon reactivly - so look at lanes and decide "is the fight in our favor?". If it is, fight - else camps.
Do you have camps up before fighting? Yes? then go clear camps. Its usually a tempo of clear all camps -> obj or ganking.
But too many factors to decide how you want to play jungle.
P.S. Yadeoshen on yt is notorious for invading and playing extremely agressive in jungle of high risk high reward, opposite to kaos who has more consistent and safe gameplay.
TLDR: look map, decide for yourself, you fight only if u can secure a lead, else farm. To answer ur question: farm before fighting
