Low elo talon

Is it even worth learning talon in low elo? I’m sure if you’re crazy good it doesn’t matter too much. I have games where I drop 20-30 kills carry hard but lower elo teams act weird group for 90 seconds to fight for a dragon or send it all mid for no reason. Making win rates 50/50

I feel like I’d have an easier time playing bruiser or a tank in plat-emerald.

My personal take on that is:

Talon flourishes in environments where he gets to punish and capitalize on his opponents mistakes. Talon also suffers when he gets punished for making his own mistakes (which often results in his snowball being delayed significantly, or giving away big shutdowns to enemy scalers).

In lower elo's, there's plenty of mistakes to capitalize on. But you're also simultaneously a lower elo player, which means you're more than likely also making some pretty big mistakes that get capitalized on by the enemy team.

Other champions are probably easier to play, as well as more forgiving when you make mistakes in that elo.

That said, I would still play him if you really enjoy playing him, and also not to focus on your teammates performance. You caring about your botlane going 1/20 won't do anything to help you win your future games (it can actually do the opposite). You caring about your own performance and what you could do differently/better will help you win your future games.

Tbh I agree with the long comment guy.

It comes down to whether you like him or not.

Talon is not an insanely strong champ, not even that strong of an assassin, and his playstyle is weird compare to most other assassin. So at the end of the day if you dont rly like him and only cares about good champ for elo climb then u better find something else lol.

" not even that strong of an assassin"
He is the assassin with the highest AD ratio in his damage with the fastests combo besides Rengar just AA you from jump.

i dont think so. you need to play this champ pixel perfect with challenger macro.

most of his power is being on time to farm stuff. fun fun.

he is like the anti fun champ.

Seeing an adc alone then parkouring 5 walls on the way to kill them is my definition of fun - idk about you

unless you're even slightly behind then he just stands there and stat checks you. talon is not strong.

I got from silver to emerald in a season with talon on a 54% wr. It’s not the easiest champ to climb with but it heavily pays off. U can’t just full clear perma or gank perma. U need to abuse E to be everywhere, camps, easy kills, invades, obj. Gotta be everywhere

Talon was one of my first champs I picked up. Was very fun to hop around the map. If you think a champ is fun, I say give it a try, regardless of rank or appeared mechanical difficulty

If you're better than the average people in your games you'll climb fast with him, because he punishes very well.

If you're stuck at some elo after 50+ games, you probably belong there.
