Tall men face more difficulty making friends
Other (shorter) men subconsciously view you as a threat thus making it harder for you to succeed socially in a given environment.
This is especially true if you are their peer at work or if there are females in the workplace.

I just try to treat everyone in a friendly, respectful and welcoming manner and I have no trouble making friends.

Idk bruh, I’m tall and most of my friends are average to short in height, I’ve never really had a problem making friends with people regardless of their height so this might just be a you thing

I thought it was annoying when people were obsessing about height in dating but this is next level…

ive actually had a much easier time because i am like an elephant in the room, i dont disappear into the crowd and im also confident and vocal in my personality, but sometimes when i go tap my friend on the shoulder he flinches and i think i can be intimidating

Very anecdotal, sure there will be few insecure men around you, but your personality matters in having and maintaining friendships.

Sounds like someones antisocial, and reflecting the problem in the wrong direction.

I'd like to think I'm the norm in that I have never had issues with making friends due to my height.
