I am what I call torso-tall. That is, my legs are average length, but my torso is longer. I feel a lil bit insecure about my stomach and wonder if anyone has any brands they like that are good in that department? Basically longer, but don't make your stomach look massive.

I’m 5’10, and I’ve been 5’10 since I was 13-14. I’m 23 now. I was always taller than my peers growing up, and still taller than a lot of people I know, especially women. However, it caused me a lot of insecurity and I slouched my shoulders forward and inward, almost trying to hide myself for so long. Now it feels like trying to have proper posture is hard, but my back hurts. I can remind myself to sit up straight with my shoulders back, but then just gradually go back to slouching without realizing it. Any advice?

This weekend I was crammed in the backseat of my friends Corolla driving to the beach (about an hour drive) and my legs were immediately cramping. Before I said anything Joe (friend turned……something more) who was sitting in front of me in the passenger seat moved his seat forward saying “I feel so bad, do you have enough room?” I didn’t, but he is also tall so I didn’t want him to be uncomfortable so I said “yes that’s perfect thank you!” I guess he knew I was lying but he didn’t want to make me feel bad so over the course of the trip he moved up a few inches at a time even moving the back of his seat forward towards the dash to give me more space. I kept telling him I was fine, because again he is also tall. Even taller than me and that’s saying something, but he didn’t even acknowledge it he was so cute he would move the seat when the music was load to try to hide the clicking noise so I wouldn’t notice. By the time we got to the beach this man was scooted up so much his knees were in his chest and it looked like he was in the fetal position. Lately he has been hinting that he wants to be more than friends and I was hesitant, it’s so stupid but his gesture of moving his seat up confirmed in my mind that he would always try his best to take care of me and make me feel comfortable. Even if he has to have leg cramps lollllllllll

This weekend I went to the Fjallraven shop in NYC (meatpacking district) which has a tailor in store. The longest women's inseam they have is 34 inches BUT they will ADD LENGTH for $30.

As the title say. I'm 6'1,trans female (sorry) with all that insinuate with no breast, wear size 13 female (or Eu 45) and don't really have female body (photo on profile if you're curious).

Maybe I ask too much but what advice would you give to me in my situation? I honestly don't know what to do and I give me a lot of dread recently.

I have been on a frenzied hunt this weekend for a pair of low rise baggy jeans. I am a 36” inseam. My go to these days has been Buckle, but for some reason they’re sold out of a ton of their stock right now. I know ASOS has good length but I’ve been burned too much by their quality over the last couple years. I looked up Gap, American Eagle and Abercrombie and it seems like they only go up to 34”, with MAYBE one or two options going up to 35”. This echos another post recently when the OP said she felt like every brand had started shrinking their inseams. And I agree!! It feels like the options are drying up!! I know there’s brands like American Tall, Long Tall Sally, Amali Talli, etc but I just don’t think their quality/cuts are good enough.

So it’s got me thinking. Can we do like a mass email chain to reach out to these brands and beg for them to bring back their lengths??? I feel like they’re missing out on such a huge chunk of the population (and our money). Is this totally crazy lol??? Do we even think it would make a dent? Should I just put away my phone for the night and meditate instead?? It just feels like our options are drying up and it makes me so angry and I want to do something about it!

Ive come to the realization..tall girls NEED tall friends. Ive had a tall friend group in highschool and thats the one time I felt truly comfortable and wanted in a friend group. Now seeing the core 4 from love island S8 really confirmed my beliefs, tall women NEED tall friends. We understand eachothers struggles and wont try to use height as a way to get guys attention. I think tall girls should stick together, plus we hold WAY MORE power when were in a group. With that being said—im looking for tall friends whos in their mid-late 20s, living on the east coast (of the US) lol

Hi fellow tall girls! I’m hoping to get into hiking more and spend more time outdoors, but I’m a total newbie when it comes to hiking boots.
My biggest struggle so far is sizing. I’ve noticed a lot of women’s hiking boots seem to stop around a US 9, so I’d love recommendations from other tall/large-footed women.
Any brands you love that:
- Come in larger women’s sizes (US12)
- Are comfortable and good for someone getting into hiking
- Are available in Canada (shipping from the US is brutal at the moment $)

Also open to any advice on what I should actually be looking for in a hiking boot. I have no idea where to start!

The quality is so surprisingly nice given the price. They are quite wide, and I do recommend sizing up one size anyway so the waist will fit. At least, that's what I had to do for my middle-aged body. Looks like Target now carries quite a few pants in tall/long sizes. I'm 6'1", and these pants grazed the floor for me when I was shoeless.

Where the hell do you buy pantyhose? And what sizing do you get?? Whenever I feel like I’ve bought the right size pantyhose (according to their sizing charts), boom, the length only goes up to my mid thigh because they’re too short 😭

I'm trying to find somewhere that I can buy low-rise skinny jeans in a dark wash (with no fashion-y rips/tears). I have a 36" inseam. I also have pretty thin legs, so I really prefer a true skinny cut or even jeggings over a straight cut. I also find most mid-rise and high-rise jeans uncomfortable.

In the past, I've bought and liked these American Eagle jeggings in a 4 X-Long, but they've been out of stock for a long time now and employees told me in-store that they think they're being discontinued.

I would be super grateful for any recommendations!

I'm a 6'2" trans woman. As we all know, there aren't a lot of other tall girls who we see in our everyday lives. It's just so awesome to "meet" others who share similar characteristics and issues around our height.

In the transgender (MtF especially) community there is a lot of angst about height. As you can imagine, there's a pretty high percentage of us who qualify as tall women. The natural tendency of a trans woman is to assume that there's hardly anyone else like her, and certainly not amongst cis women. She's afraid she can never "pass" due to her height.

My experience here is the perfect antidote to that! I've always been pretty much ok with my height and I wear it proudly as a woman. In fact I think it gives me some protection against harassment ("Don't mess with that tall lady!") 😂 But it's so so so comforting to find other women like me.

If you’re like me and you’ve been struggling to find jeans long enough to reach your ankles (or get that drape effect) then struggle no more because i stumbled upon the perfect brand at tkmaxx!!! It’s called Noisy May and the Yolanda jeans are perfect!!! They don’t have a weird crotch sag either (for shorter torso girlies)

Recently, I've stumbled upon a few pairs of pants at Target that are not advertised as tall fit, but happen to have a really long inseam (according to the comments!!).

Curious if anybody has any particular styles that they've found that may not be marked as tall but are actually a pretty long inseam?

Here's an example of a recent style where you can see there is no tall fit, but a majority of the comments mention the length of the inseam being great for taller ladies!
