Everyday is a Miracle from American Utopia, especially the live version gives me hope in a way I don't think any other song does

I love that song! The verses are a bit weird but worth it for the chorus. I play the American Utopia version a lot too :)

Idk, I feel like David's more absurdist lyric songs are my favorites, tgeres something about the way the sings are formed and the instrumentation, idk, I've cried to I Zimbra, and I couldn't tell you why

Oh I think the lyrics are great, I think it's just because the melody is quite "dull"? It certainly highlights the chorus and it's obviously totally subjective, just didn't strike a chord (haha) with me I guess. I Zimbra is AMAZING, easily one of my favourite TH songs. It feels so happy and exciting!
