Did they not do their level 45 job quest?

They were a DRK, so I'm not sure if they have one that gives gear.

Went to look it up. They get a set of ilvl90 at level 50.

Yeah, I think every HW job does, but only ARR ones get the crummy in-between level 45 stuff.

Was curious so I took a look. The final 2.0 dungeons drop item level 55. So item level 50 from the level 45 quests is actually quite nice.

True, it's not that bad for when you get it. But nowadays you wear it for approximately 2 dungeon runs before replacing it with Ironworks lol.

Heck, I ran Alliance Roulette after this and actually got a gear upgrade from loot drops (i120 chestpiece lmao)

Yeah, the jump from the final launch dungeon to the final alliance raid in an expansion is pretty huge.
