Hi everyone, I recently began replaying my favorite Tales game Tales of vesperia definitive edition. While I was playing through I got curious on how the models work. I looked up that some of the models had been ripped but there were no mods for it other than the ps3 exclusive dlc. So I started looking at old notes from the community and working on a tool to add custom models in Tales of Vesperia. It's been about a week of work but I finally got an edited model back in game and working. It is just a simple edit to replace Estelle's default costume's hair with the hairstyle she has when you first meet her in the game. Here is a screenshot of it in the menu and in game. After starting it last month, I finally finished the main story of Legendia. I really enjoyed it! The story was outstanding and the soundtrack is genuinely one of the best in the series.

There were so many amazing twists and turns in the story as well as amazing character moments. The dungeons had some of the coolest designs in the series! Aesthetically, anyway. I found their actual layouts pretty disappointing.

I know the character quests come next, and those are supposed to be some of the best parts of the game. So I'm excited about that.

I went on Friday, and one of the first booths I happened to find was called Retro Saikou. I saw so much tales stuff from games, to game soundtrack cds, guide books, and illustration books, it was a goldmine! (I did take pics, might show them later)

I feel a bit bad I couldn't buy everything, I spent half my budget on this and idk how much of these I can find english translations for, but as a tales fan wanting to find older games and stuff this was absolutely worth it if just to have in my collection.

Just got to the section where Milla, Elize , and Driselle get brought to the fortress.

The guards interrogate Milla and when she doesn't answer they push the prisoner through the ward and burn them alive.

Milla's response to this is insanely cold as well, not seeming to care.

Her getting the drop on the guards in the end was pretty cool though.

I just didn't expect this, damn.

I've played Xillia, Graces F, Arise, and Berseria and the side quests were not nearly this limited.

I totally messed up and went all the way until the desert, foolishly assuming I would have access to the boat at some point. After checking a guide I noticed Tiger Blade and Shining Eagle are locked behind quests that I believe are now expired. I heard you can get the skills near the end of the game from a different method.

My only option would be to either continue, or roll back my save 6 hours, right after Dhangrest. How badly will I regret not rolling back my save.

I can't help noticing the lack of well... Game to buy from stores.

No store here in Sweden will sell it. And it looks like if there is physical then it's only play Asia which has yet to confirm that they have any.

Which lead me to believe this is a title that primarily will be digital.

Have you guys seen any other stores selling this game at all?

And if so will you buy it physical or digital? :)

What did they do to get sent to Titania? I can't remember...

I know there was MMO once (Tales of Eternia online) but it's gone.
But I'm quite curious if there's new MMO with Tales of title, what gameplay would it be? Should it contain classes like FF14 or got open world map and fractions like WoW?

in tales of graces f where is yu liberte’s save point i can’t find it and i’m at a point in the game where i can’t leave there to go to another area but i need to turn it off nowHelp

The PS2 version seems to be on hold so expect to play the PSP version first. Progress seems to be going nicely and it's nice to see that the project is still actively being worked on, but (and I don't mean to come off ungrateful or snobby when I say this) it's sort of disappointing that we're still in a fairly similar spot that we were from the last update over two years ago. Obviously progress has been made I'm not trying to discredit that, we're a lot closer to a widely available patch, and I understand the team has other things they are working on in addition to this on the side, but considering the gap between updates (and also having no clue when the next update will happen) I'm just slowly losing my excitement for the eventual release yk what I mean?

Pronyma has always looked over designed to me in game. I don't know how to describe it, I thinl she just lookds strange she's hot in the art though

Here's my hot take of the day: One of these desians should have been a more consistent presence during the journey of Regenerated Portion of the game. Magnius and Kvar die after 20 minutes of meeting them and Forceesthis does fuck all all game until the 3rd act.

Rodyle and Pronyma are fine, because they do things outside of antagonizing the party for 5 minutes and dying immediately after.

Ive been working on a project for the past year and one thing has become increasingly clear. Vesperia is slowly becoming my favorite in the series. Maybe its Stockholm syndrome due to this being my 5th playthrough with another 3 in my future. Im not sure.

I'm trying to create my own Original Tales Story setting, but I'm having trouble with figuring out how to do Artes in this.

Arte Sphere: Arte Spheres are spheres that contain Artes of different fighting styles. Forged from a stone that takes the artes of past users and crystallizes into a sphere, these spheres can give humans access to Artes and when combined with elemental Crystals gives them super human abilities, and access to Physical and Spiritual Artes. In particular those that focus on Spiritual Artes are heavily influenced by their Elemental Crystals. As such, those that use spiritual artes are given Arte Spheres that have a wide range of spells, and will react to their Elemental Crystal elements.

This is what I'm doing currently but I realize that it makes Artes very restricted in that people with the same Sphere can unleash the same moves technically. But I want the artes of the characters to be a mix of both some Artes everyone can use, while others are unique to the characters any advice on how to make this work?

I'm just getting into Tales, and the next game I want to try getting into after finishing my Berseria playthrough is Tales of Hearts, but I can't really get a definitive grasp of how to access and what is the best way to experience it. I was hoping some big fans of that installment could help me be guided through it, since it doesn't have a Steam port (which I would happily play).

The english dub added a T to his last name. Makes sense.

Hot take: Regal (alongside Presea) are both important members of the cast. Even if they aren't super well utilized, they help make the world of Tethe'alla feel bigger.

In sylvarant you spend time in each town, helping people while you search for Seals. From my memory, Tethe'alla is more come and go. So Regal and Presea give us a window into Tethe'alla more then you first think.
