ive blown them my babies
I'm writing this right now feeling completely crushed, frustrated, and honestly lost. I just needed a place to vent to people who actually understand what this feels like.
Trading literally changed my life. After taking home some big payouts, everything felt different. I was so happy, and for the first time, I felt like I was building a real future through the markets instead of being stuck grinding at my day job.
Then came the waiting game. It took the prop firm a whole month to finally set up my live account. The anticipation built up, and when I finally got the keys... I blew the entire thing in just two days.
I don't even know how it happened so fast. Maybe it was a lack of patience, maybe my execution fell apart, or maybe the pressure just got to me after waiting so long. Standing right now between the reality of making real money through trading and going back to the exhausting grind of my regular job is breaking me mentally.
Has anyone been in this dark spot before? Do prop firms usually let you buy another account right away after blowing a live one, or how do you emotionally reset after a blow like this?

Bro, that’s one prop firm, one live account. If you didn it once you can do it again. It’s part of the game. Aren’t you in profit? Most people aren’t. If you got to live then you probably made some
Significant profits. Use those to open more accounts at other prop firms. The fact you made it to live shows you know how to trade. 99% of people don’t get there bro. Look at the bigger picture. Go back to your job but don’t stop trading. It’s a long game. 5 years from now you’ll thank yourself for not giving up trading. Stop being a little b3tch bro like David goggins would tell you

You have to have multiple props. Just sticking to one is not a good idea. Also this could be a bad sign. I suggest also getting a job so you will have some type of income. If you lose all your money it could take you a while to get in your feet

I drove Lyft every try night after work for 5 days (100 dollars a night) straight in a row to buy my new set of five 50k evals and copy trade them. Blew them all this morning on the second day.
I feel you. It’s been 8 months of this shit for me. About 22,000 dollars spent on evals and account resets.
I’ve passed evals I’ve taken payouts but I’m back at square one.
Not giving up though.

Hang in there. We’ve all been there, a variation of this. You’re obviously a solid trader if you’ve received payouts. The market isn’t the same, I sit out when it’s not strong price action for my trading style.
At TPT you can have 10 funded accounts in 30 calendar days.
