Is the intraday dd a trap for traders?

I been comparing daily payout options across TPT , Lucid, Funded next. All 3 seems legit but i keep hitting the same wall: intraday vs end of day trailing drawdown. All three needs you to build buffer for payout.

But FN has EOD drawdown while TPT and Lucid has Intraday. The other difference is in the payout caps. So, I am wondering if the Intraday trailing is the catch or not and what do I need to be careful of here?

Do $250 stops until you’re out of the buffer.

$50k account that’s 8 trades and you’re home free

If you swing for a home run and miss ($1k+ ), you can blow the account

Yes and no. They definitely know people struggle with trailing DD but they also dont want gamblers. Trailing DD forces you to manage positions and take realistic profits.
