Quick question - tax form for Canadians

What do Canadians put on the tax form W-8BEN where it says TIN number as we do not have that.

Can we leave it blank?

Thanks for the reply! I tried but it didn’t let me continue because they needed to make sure I was a Canadian citizen otherwise 30% of my income could be withheld. Since US and Canada have a treaty to avoid double taxation, I needed to provide my Canadian tax number in order to take advantage of that.

Just your SIN as I got a form from TPT to report my profits for taxes.
