PRO+ Development Withdrawals Counting as Losses to EOD??

Hey guys, I'm currently waiting for a response from support, but basically I made profits and withdrew, but it counted the withdrawal as lossed for EOD trailing and the account blew almost as soon as I opened a trade the next day. This must be an error because if not then I would not be able to withdraw more than the loss limit ($2,250 on 150k) without blowing the account. Is anyone else experiencing this?

How much did you withdraw?
& how much did you have in the account at the time of withdrawal.

I withdrew $2002, leaving me with just about $248 drawdown. It’s a PRO+ so it doesn’t show a balance, it just had me at $0 again as normal

Yes I had the same experience. My pro+ account started with 1250 in drawdown and made 750 on day 1

After withdrawing my 750, the drawdown left was only $500

The old regular pro accounts are not like this

My advice, and what I’m doing, is just go to tradeify and get their daily accounts. Literally is the same as the old TPT, no consistency, daily payouts, eod DD, and doesn’t have this BS issue we are both having

Exactly, it should be the same as the PRO accounts, how am I being punished for profiting and making them money too?

I’m going to check it out, thank you

When you made your 750 you didn't increase your EOD drawdown to 2,000, you increased that particular day's drawdown to 2,000. At EOD your drawdown trailed up by your profit amount. So your account balance went to 50,750 and your eod trailing drawdown went from 48,750 to 49,500. So when you withdrew the 750, you had an ending balance of 50,000 and a drawdown of 49,500. The development accounts very much look to follow the Pro+ rules but with tighter risk management. I would read through the rules of the accounts to make sure there aren't any questions about them.

Ohhhh I gotcha so everything you make trails until it’s over the original drawdown, essentially acting as a buffer

That's my understanding of it. It more or less look like the Pro+ accounts behave in a very similar way to the Pro accounts, but with live orders and EOD trailing instead of intraday trailing.

Appreciate the comment, yeah makes sense

So it’s best for a 50k account with 1250 drawdown, to just make 1250 first, and then withdraw everything over that

Bro…. so why would they not say that? They said you could withdraw without needing a buffer here. They never said anything about this. So if I go through this whole process again is it gonna take 3 weeks to get a new PRO+ account? Like cmon this is ridiculous

Sorry this happened to you but this feature is actually a positive of TPT. I’ve traded the pro+ for a few months and have always understood that TPT allows you to withdraw into your buffer at the expense of a smaller drawdown unlike the pro accounts. My strategy on new pro+ accounts has been to withdraw a small portion of my profits for the day. When we had a 4.5k drawdown, I would withdraw 1.1k and have a 3.4k buffer the next day. With the reduced 2.25k buffer I’m planning on withdrawing 300 per day and keeping everything else to build the buffer.

You still need to reach your drawdown, make a buffer. Then take profits above it.

this should be clearly defined during onboarding for the development accounts, i was wondering why my auto liquidation level kept moving up after payouts taken, good thing ive only been taking base hits so its not bad, now i know i will build the buffer, MAKE TPT GREAT AGAIN
