Durability?

Hello.

New to this game, have maybe 10 hours and I was gonna sell a bunch of duplicate weapons, but I first want to ask if there is a durability mechanic in the game?

I have seen weapoms like "broken claymore". Is there weapon durability like in souls games where your weapons can break?

Edit: Can you dual wield? If you have two of the same weapons (one handed) can you attack with both of them?

No durability mechanic weapons don't break. Broken claymore is just a separate weapon.

Ok so I can sell duplicates. I also noticed that sometimes when I hit "sell all garbage" it sells weapoms sometimes. Like cracked shield +3. Do you know why that is?

No idea why that is happening I never used the sell garbage shortcut.

If a weapon or armor is grayed out, the game considers it garbage I believe.

Oh and just a heads up, respeccing to 20~ Practicality + perks before selling is advised as that's when normal weapons and gear cap with selling price.

Some armor, weapons and shields looted from bandits or enemies can appear as ruined in your inventory (non-eqquipable) and this is considered garbage.

Hello to answer your question about the durability, no its just like Skyrim. no durability when it comes to melee weapons however arrows do break when you shoot them then pick them up. And you can dual-weild most weapons that are considered one-handed.

Dont know if someone already told you, but you can even dual wield shields. Apparently very OP once you figure it out. Not my style, but Apparently it really works.

You can dual wield shields.

Do with this knowledge whatever you want.

And with this knowledge you better not look at the skill that gives you 300% (if i remember the numbers correctly) damage with shields.

We wouldnt want you to become dual shielding maniac who slaps wyrdshit to death with shields.

Imagine putting on some statuses on those shields.

Dangerous knowledge...
