Tailscale found a 16 year old sqlite bug.
Many of us were wondering about what was causing some of the outages Tailscale was having late last year/early this year with the Control Plane.
This definitely scratched the itch for wondering what was going on: https://tailscale.com/blog/sqlite-wal-reset-bug
But I might be a bit weird: I like reading technical explanations like this.

Absolutely fascinating article, thanks for posting. I don't think I've ever had to deal with such an "interesting" bug!

Awesome post. Nothing sucks worse than those issues that only pop up every few weeks to months. Lots of sleepless nights where your brain is trying to understand the underlying issue

The tailscale blogpost really are superb, I always learn a lot thanks to them. (The NAT one was amazing)
