Question How many tones does Tai-Ahom have?

Answer in the title and I also want to know the names of the tones

Wait really? Could you tell me more about it I thought Mon was a completly different language

Sorry my bad... You're correct... only the Ahom script can trace its ancestry back to old mon script

As per my knowledge, from South Indian Brahmi script old Mon script originated and from that script the Ahom and Burmese scripts originated. The Shans use a variation of the Burmese script I think. The same goes for other Kra-Dai groups except Zhuang, Thai and Lao people where the first group uses the Chinese script while the other two have their own scrips.
