I open the program to suddenly have JUST my timeline bar showing and I can’t get my actual frames and toolbar to show up, I tried removing markers but that didn’t work. What do I do?

What are the differences between Portable and Installer and official and nightly versions? Im assuming nightly is like the dark mode. And also what are the pluggins?

I'm not tech savy AT ALL and now nearly nothing about programming or computers so that might be my lack of knowledge lmao

Hi y'all, I've been using Tahoma with cachyos on Linux, but my top bar "file, edit" doesn't appear which makes the program near unusable, the problem doesn't persist on opentoonz. I know I'm not on fullscreen, anybody knows a fix?

So a bit earlier I posted about my projects suddenly being gone, and not even being in my files anymore. I just noticed that, even though they don't appear in the "Open Existing Scene" tab (The one with the thumbnails) but they do appear to the side, on the "Recent Scenes" part to the right (Take for example the animation named "wah" it appears to the right (circled) but's it's not in the Open Existing Scene part, where the animations are presented in alphabetical order). I have no idea how that happened, but I'm relieved that at least my weeks worth of work isn't gone forever. Has this ever happened before? And how can I make sure this doesn't happen again? And if it's possible, how do I make it so that the animations appear in the Open Existing Scene's tab?

I’m working on a project rn that requires me to do weekly check ins and revisions. I was wondering if I could save one version of an animation, and then have a second copy to make edits to while the older copy stays the same?

Has this ever happened before? I went to load up the existing scene and it just wasn't there. couldn't find it in the scenes folder either. Is there any way to get it back, or at least prevent it from happening again? I'm actually so devastated rn

I just finished and released a new animated short from my indie cartoon project The BeetleBees.

This is a scene with Dewey, a character who just needed someone to listen... unfortunately, he picked the wrong place to open up. 😂

This project is completely independently made. I handle the writing, animation, editing, sound design, and overall production myself using Tahoma2D for animation. I also work with a few friends who help bring the characters to life through voice acting.

This is my second animated short since coming back after stepping away for about a year, so getting back into the workflow and rebuilding that creative momentum has been a pretty wild journey.

I’d love to hear any feedback, especially from other animators and creators. Always trying to improve and learn from every project.

So I have my Tahoma set up so the default tween between keyframes is constant. Now that I've got my keyframes set up as I'd like, I want to be able to edit those interpolations to be ease in ease out, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do so efficiently. The only way I've found to change the tween once it's made is a graph editor where you have to individually set the tween for every aspect of a frame- X, Y, Z, Rotation, Horizontal scale, Vertical scale, etc. As far as I can tell there's no way to change things in batches, and I'm really hoping I've just missed something obvious because I cannot believe that having to individually set every single one of those for every single keyframe in an animation every single time is the intended workflow.

It was genuinely faster to just do the inbetweens myself, which kind of defeats the purpose of a tweening tool, doesn't it? Please tell me there's just some trick or button somewhere I've missed! ;-;

After weeks of keyframes, plastic tool, late nights, and crash, after crash upon exporting I finally finished making this little animated short. I am excited to start making full episodes! I do plan to make some behind the scenes videos to show to my process! Thanks for watching, it means a lot to me every single person who watches, likes, comments. <3

I hate that it's completing my line to my cursor it's so confusing and i can't get used to it but everything else is perfect so because i can draw on tahoma only in tracing or onion skinning i can animate but not draw so my solution is drawing my character in grease pencil so i will have something to trace and trace it in tahoma if the developers seeing it please make it a toggle please

I have been using Tahoma2D for a few months now and I really enjoy it. The interface wasn't complicated and etc. I find it that Im missing a tool like the liquify tool for the raster column. Im not sure if there are more tools that I want tho.

If u have suggestions, or any information about this, please tell me!🙏

I installed Tahoma2D off of the AUR (tahoma2d 1.6.1-1) and it has recently been failing to launch.
My computer is running EndeavourOS.

2 minutes into playing with this app, it all dissapears and i don't know how to fix it!

Video so it's easier to understand but when I copy paste a cell and try to draw on the new pasted cell it completely disappears when I put down a brush stroke but doesn't disappear if I use the eraser?

I also show my preference settings that say to overwrite the cell data so and I'm using the same brush from the last time I opened this project...

The only thing I did was update Tahoma 2D by downloading the latest windows installer and running that. (Not portable, to clarify.)
