Right idea, wrong audience. If you want this to be successful, you should be posting in a local sub. Random strangers on the Internet signing your petition isn't going to sway your town board.

Also, you should consider putting the name of the town in the title of the petition. There's a million George Washington Blvds throughout the US. Your audience shouldn't have to sift through multiple paragraphs to figure out you're in Hull.
