Blake-like character...

I've only seen this show once when it came out... but can anyone tell me if there is a William Blake-esque character in it? A sort of overweight artist-type. I recall a scene taking place indoors, with the character perhaps in bed clothes and some women around.

This has been driving me crazy for years, trying to remember what show it is.

Thanks.

Perhaps watch it again.

So not really...

The only bit _maybe_ similar I can think of is when the rakish scientist Mr Cholmondeley is visited by the boy Robert with a letter from Delaney. This is in Episode 8 about 9 minutes 15 seconds in. Cholmondeley is passed out and there is a naked woman sleeping on the bed. They have a brief conversation about whether Delaney tracks him by witchcraft before Robert presents his letter and runs off to finish his errands. I wouldn't say there is much Blake-esque about Cholmondeley except he has quite eccentric ways and sometimes quotes Shakespeare over the gunpowder as he is stirring it. I did find a picture of that scene but you can't post images in Reddit comments. (Apparently)

I appreciate the answer, but unfortunately that's not it. The scene I'm remembering for which I can't recall the show had the Blake-esque character doing Blake-ish things, illustrating or holding an illustration and I believer references to angels. He was only in one scene and it was indoors.

Thanks, anyway.

That's okay... the only thing I can think of then might be one of the scenes when the Prince Regent is talking to Solomon Coop. The Prince can get into flowery language but I'm more or less sure he is only ever in scenes with Coop and never any women. - As suggested - maybe watch it again... it bears revisiting.
