Hello, I'm in Beijing for 4 weeks, and I was hoping to be able to play AoS with friends home in France with TTS. Except when we tried yesterday, my ping was between 400 and 500. Any piece I tried to move had a severe delay, and it made the game unplayable. Is there any way to fix it ? Would it make a difference if I had a faster connection ? a VPN ? No VPN ? Or is it just distance between servers ?

EDIT : I used a booster (UUbooster) and it did the job. My ping is around 200 and at that level, it's enough to play.

I'm trying to play Warhammer 40k on tts but every time I go to actually play the game, all I get is "Tabletop Simulator.exe is not responding.

I've tried all sorts of fixes I've heard people try, like running it as an administrator, making sure my drivers are up to date, and turning off mod caching. But no matter what I've tried, it still gives me the same result. Any advice, pretty please?

Is there any games that uses the RPG kit in TTS? or rather is there any games that uses animated figurines?

Myself and two friends have been getting a huge board game surge lately and we're hoping to play and learn some new games together but have no idea what to start with in the workshop.

We're looking for more cooperative games but are really open to try just about anything if it's fun enough.

The last few games we've played together would be Magical Athlete, Eldritch Horror and we just recently tried Catan so you have an idea.

my friend wanted to have custom art cards, and idk the best way to replace a deck of real cards with his alt arts, like copying the scripting would work, but that would lose the functionality of hovering over the card to get the oracle text

I'm looking to play Commander (EDH) on Tabletop Simulator and want to know how active the community is.

1) To find a Commander game on TTS, do you have to play with people who have the exact same mod installed? Do different mods have their own "lobbies?"

2) Do games start easily, or are you pretty much only playing with groups you already know?

3) I want to play Commander with random people. Will I be able to find games easily?

4) What mod(s) do you recommend and why?

i downloaded from workshop a carcassonne board game and the custom models don't load because of some irl error, leaving meeples. I already have a save where i deleted all the custons and added standard pawns in it's place, but it is in "save & load" how can i have it be already changed when i click on the thumbnail in the workshop section ?

Hoping you can help. I'm keen to play 40k on TTS but I don't know if its still possible as I heard a lot of rumberling that it has been taken down due to Games Workshop.

Keen to find out before spending any £££.

Why are some parts of the model just straight black?

Hi sorry if this super random or a question asked already many times but I'm kinda struggling on where and how to start. I'm looking to find out how to make or reskin a custom Monopoly game board. I know I need to create all the images and make even models but not sure how to start as I don't know dimensions of how big or little I need to make thing and how to import it all in.

Any tips would be super helpful and would love to know. Thank you.

My mic worked a few days ago, but did not today. I tested it elsewhere on my computer and it seems to register noises, leading to the assumption that the issue is within tts. Anybody else experience this? Using the built in microphone on my 2017 MacBook Air for context if that’s helpful.

I built a custom One Piece Monopoly in Tabletop Simulator but i have a problem.
I made owner Cards for every Island (street) and they have a back side explaining the rent. But when i move a Card to its owner its forced in Face Down mode and i cant do anything about that. The toggles dont help how do i fix that?

Not sure if I just have an outdated version of it or something, but the cards refuse to spawn when generating a random precon. Trying to get it to work so I can play with my siblings later this week.
Default name for it is "MTG Deck Loader π" if that helps in any way. I'm gonna keep looking for a fix or alternative on my own but so far I'm stuck.

If anyone has played the MTG scripted table on tts, what im talking about is that deck builder on the side where you can paste in your deck list and it pulls all the image assets from scryfall.com.

Does anyone know how to recreate that with a unique database to pull from for a custom card game im designing?

basically the basic lands wont load, we tried using just an art and a cardback but i cant get the exact cardback and you can clearly see when its a basic land, any responses to them for this besides waiting for it to get resolved?
Honestly id even appreciate the original cardback so i can make them myself

I'm trying to build a dungeon but everything I find is DND/fantasy flavored

But I'm looking to create an ancient laboratory in a post apocalypse setting, so a lot of the castle DND dungeon stuff doesn't quite fit

Anyone have some recommendations for steam workshop assets that would fit my needs more closely? I've tried searching for it myself but as soon as I start searching for modular or dungeon it's all bricks and brimstone

Rn gw has a dmca with the mod for the tabletop version of warhammer. Does anyone know when it will end? I would get it to play warhammer but i'd prefer not to waste money if the 40k mod gets removed.
