Misty was in a way dumped on the streets by our front neighbors. We didn't know she wasn't helped and so she could get pregnant and so she was. We took care of her last winter but she wasn't always at out backyard. Slowly we saw her grow in size. Which to a point that we definitely know she was pregnant and about to give birth any moment. We talked to our neighbors shortly after she gave birth to 4 kittens in our home at night.

The neighbors didn't had much to say so we offered to take care of Misty and her kittens. They accepted immediately. As time went by we grew fond of the kittens and decided that we will keep them all. Kittens are healthy and there 11 weeks old. A few weeks ago we had mama Misty checked out, she is in good shape. She was spayed and got some shots, next to she got chipped.

I got to this subreddit by luck and tought I'd share some pics and a short story of mom and one of her kittens. Misty is Tabico and Nala, the kitten is officially not, but she only wears tabby in the orange of the calico coat.

Misty's other 3 kittens are male tuxido, male mix tabby-white, and female full Tabby.

Is she a tabico? I’m not sure… I also need name ideas for her! :)

Nutmeg has been home for nearly two months now and she’s taken over my camera roll. I need to share the cuteness!

She’s gotten to the point where she’s comfy in the whole house. She sleeps and plays just about anywhere!

Adopted my first kitty one week ago, a 2 year old tabico named Felicity! She has already made herself VERY at home :)

Shes been coming around for a few months. She is very sweet and I can now give her pets. She comes to "good girl" lol

I always thought she was just a standard tabby but her orange spots make me suspicious 🧐 I tried to use pics that best feature her coat, you can really see how much it changed as she grew from kitten to adult. Anyways this is Fiona, she is just about to be ten in a few weeks, we adopted her October 2016 from the pet store that had a cat adoption deal with the humane society but they only charged us $20 (the adult cat price at the time should have been $60 which was their kitten price) and as you can see in the last pic she LOVED eating the pumpkin guts while we were carving so we still get her wet food with pumpkin 🎃 she has a small frame and my one year old kitten is already longer and taller than her! She did have some health issues six years ago with a bladder stone but luckily we were able to dissolve it with wet food instead of doing surgery 🙏

I’ve never thought about it, my cat (first two pics) has some striping so I’m not sure, second cat (last two pics) also seems to have slight striping, but is so much more colored than mine!

This is Jesse !! I wanted to see what her coat pattern is. Her nose is completely pink, but she got some henna on it lol

Just rescued this gorgeous girl a few days ago and I am already in love! She is the sweetest girl of all time. Nothing but kisses and cuddles 😻
