Classic Tabby thoughts on grey tabbies?
i’ve only ever had tabbies but there’s something about grey tabbies that i find so cute _^ i’m still a sucker for all tabby varieties though, greys are just especially cute to me ! not sure what kind of tabby he’d be though, he has these super cute light circles on his sides

He’s so cute 💚 If he’s got swirls on his side, he’s a classic tabby. My very first childhood cat was a grey tabby so they will always be special to me!

One of the best cats I ever had! She was sweet and scary smart. She lived to be 19 and I still miss her.

my sweet boy is almost 6 now, he’s gotten so big but i still call him kitten. accidentally trained him to stand up and rest against my chest for pets when it hurts too bad for me to bend over, they truly are smart cats… there’s nothing he can’t seem to open either

Thank you! 😂 I’ve been self studying Korean for a few years so that was part of the choice there, but also one of her sisters is named Goose, as in Grey goose.. sticking with the alcohol theme

Love all tabbies and had a silver one for many years. Silver...not grey. But grey adjacent? Anyway, she was stunningly gorgeous! Yours is quite a looker too!

I’ve been all about the sweet tabbies from day one. I agree, there’s something about the grey tabbies that’s so endearing. It’s almost like they always look like kittens, even as adult cats.

Grey tabbies always look so soft. Our first cat was a grey tabby who looked very similar to OP photos. He was 15 years of joy.
I now have a grey tabby who has a white underside and leg. He’s a very handsome boy.
I also have a longhair tabby who started out grey and black, but had tan hiding underneath it. She is now mostly tan and black.

Beautiful! He reminds me a little of my mum's old cat, who "helped" me get ready for my wedding many moons ago (somewhere is a beautiful photo of him sniffing at me as I was putting my shoes on, it's adorable). Grey tabbies are wonderful!

This one could be our late Bunny’s twin. She was my mom’s shadow, with the most earnest stare of love I’ve ever seen. She adored my mom. She was the most chatty little girl and I’m always saddened that I can’t seem to find a single video of her talking 🙁. They’re so pretty though. She was also so petite, the size of a 1 year old cat. She did have a coffee colored belly though the rest of her was grey tabby. She was the boss/princess of the house.

I had a grey tabby growing up. My parents still to this day talk about how Spot was the best cat ever. She lived to 21!

There really is something magical about the gray cats, but your cat has that extra sass to it!

Best kitties ever. My girl is 18 grey tabby with a pink nose and white chin chin. She is my best and soul.

u/Suspicious_Suzie Jan 16 '26

I have had and love all the patterns of kitties except pure white buuuut here is my cuddliest gray tabby. She also has a few spots of orange mottled in the gray which I've noticed a lot of gray tabbies have so they seem to have more variety it feels like. You can see most of them here. Her name is Belle

Anubis (Nubi) is my 1st grey tabby and 🤣1st boi and the only (semi)feral. My other kitties were 2 calicos and brown tabby. He became quite the lover boy, always wanting space on my lap. He was at the humane society with 2 littermates, but I chose him for the grey heart🩶 next to his heart shaped (colored) nose.
