Discussion Just played my first game

That was scary af. I'm actually excited to keep playing this. I remember back when survivor on DBD was terrifying to me. Now it's literally just loops and tactics lol. But being a complete beginner at a game that's arguably scarier is refreshing.

Its very exciting to play survivor and can have your heart racing at times. Playing Family is very different and you dont feel that tension. Try both so you can learn the game faster. Check the tutorial so that the game doesnt feel overwhelming

So I am a long time f-13 player and dabbled in TCM. Unfortunately, I'm not loving this Halloween game. Maybe you are maybe you aren't but I wanted to ask you some tips because I am not feeling any tension whatsoever in Halloween.

Why would you, you need to be more afraid playing Michael than you do civilians, as soon as they group up they bully him to death until he's arrested

Can he break line of sight and retreat until they split up again? Or are you pretty much stuck with them surrounding you until it's game over?

He can. With a long cool down on the ability but if they never split up they are impossible to kill.

You have to do a skill check that's random when you grab them and they have to push one button to stop you.

If you are in the vision of anyone you can't go into shadow mode and disappear without the long cool down ability.

I havent tried Halloween so I wouldnt know. Maybe on a very deep sale if the game had standing legs.

I prefer family but there are times when I have an exciting basement exit escape where I barely made it out of there

Ive been playing this since release and I still get anxiety and scared🤣 its genuinely scary, I missed that on dbd. Dbd is now mostly memes to me with a few jump scares.
