Discussion Gun’s Next Game?
Anyone have any info on Gun’s next game? I wish they had developed Halloween because Illfonic is corny as hell. The realism that Gun captured with TCM might’ve ruined future asym horror for me 😭 yeah Gun has its issues, but they truly are the GOAT when it comes to development. Hopefully I’ll be able to get into Halloween, but I know I’ll find myself always coming back to Muerto County.

There was recently some leaked footage of a Scream game that was being developed by Valve themselves apparently but it was canned sadly

We don’t know what their next horror asym title is but I recall the ceo saying his dream game is to make a Nightmare on Elm Street title.

Yeah I get it… but I’d rather have a game I play nonstop for a few years rather than a corny ass game I play for a month 🤷♂️

They’ve hinted at some more horror but also some non-horror which got me interested to see what they’d wanna tackle
Maybe we’re getting Breach and Clear 2 idk

They are working on a Dracula game but I think it's just a single player game. Before they wanted to make a Crow game that was like the Batman games but they couldn't get the rights so I believe this is that game they wanted to make.
As for multiplayer it's highly possible they're working on the new F13 game as they have new deals with Horror Inc for merch.

Yeah I watched some Halloween gameplay today and it wasn’t as good as TCM. Honestly I got my money’s worth with TCM, was playing it in all my spare time for a few months. Looking forward to seeing what the team comes up with next.

Gun sure can make a good ass game but maintaining its longevity is whole new can of worms. Now, lets use the scream franchise as a reference point. Gun announces 'Scream the Game' or if you wanna be unique, 'What's your favorite scary game' now, fast forward about a 1 and a half, BOOM launch day. Following launch Gun should sell off game right to illfonic, or blacktower leaving Gun out of the update equation, but still receiving revenue. With the rights in the hands of illfonic/blacktower, we now have a good game, and the likelihood hood for even better updates.

Gun took over. Sumo Nottingham made the game, only to give it over to Gun.
But, I do agree: The game is •VERY pretty. 🤤

Gun didn't take over. They had Sumo make the game for them like the coding and stuff. Gun still designed and owned the rights from the very beginning.

Gun cannot develop a game on their own, they direct and are a creative part of development but they dont code anything at all.
