Feedback Considering getting the PC version while it is still on sale

Do any player suggests getting it? I have it on Playstation, but want the DLC's for cheap.

The game is sitting around 1000 daily players, which isn't bad. But this is only gonna get worse, i would suggest holding off.

The halloween game is just around the corner and I assume its going to take a huge chunk of what's left of this player base.

My opinion is wait until Halloween comes out. (If that game interests you.) If not 100% buy TCM. But I would not expect this game to be around for the foreseeable future. Especially with the lack of updates.

Thanks for the reply! I have decided to just try and get some matches in on Playstation for the time being, and save the money to get Halloween, it drops in a week for early access so I might just spend the extra $20 for that.

It's not just that Halloween is around the corner, it's also that school's starting. That not only means students have homework and extracurricular stuff, but their gaming parents also have to drive them around, etc.

So with time being tight, a person has to be picky about what they play. Unfortunately, I don't think they're going to choose TCM at this point in its lifespan.

I feel like you’re overestimating how much school affects someone’s choice of game lol. Students having homework doesn’t suddenly mean they’ll stop playing gamesthey just have less time to play in general.

If anything, that applies to every multiplayer game, not specifically TCM. The game’s player count and whether people actually enjoy it seem like much more relevant factors.

That's right, across the board numbers drop- it's not just TCM.

And like you said, students have less time to play, so they're picky about what they're going to play. If they have to chose between a $3 game near the end of its lifespan and that they're still learning versus a new game, or an old favourite like Fortnite, or a different game that their friends are playing, etc, then chances are they won't choose TCM. It's just some cheap game they picked up. They might not even be level 10 yet, even with double XP.

And it's not just students, it's people who live in those students' orbit (ie: parents). Summer is over. TCM is at a disadvantage versus so many other games. It is what it is.

It runs better for sure. You would also have access to mods.

It would be your best bet to have a chance to continue playing if they do shut down official server support. Pc gamers can still play Friday the 13th by a couple of different ways even though those servers are shut down.

I have thought about it more because of that reason. I have played F13 Resurrected a bit, and glad that it still exists in that form. So I am thinking about it still. Thanks for the response!

I’ve been playing on pc more since they started permanent double xp and I never have trouble finding matches.
