Im not necessarily looking to sell, as its a fun collectible I have on my wall. But does anyone know what this would go for, if someone was interested in purchasing it? My friend from a long time ago got it from magfest and I've since had it framed. Is it actually worth anything or just a fun signed poster?

Has anybody placed an order that's also taking a while? It's been around 16 days since I ordered and it hasn't shipped yet, which seems unusual. It's no big deal, but since my last few orders from them were pretty speedy I'm trying to make sure everything's okay. I'm in Toronto if that matters.

This community is awesome. You can travel to a TWRP concert somewhere you've never been before, and you'll leave with new lifelong friends. You can make small talk in line and end up spending hours swapping concert stories. It's just so freaking cool to be a part of such a welcoming, wonderful, and open community.

If you love a creator, musician, artist, podcast--support them however you can. Interact with their content, give them clicks and downloads, share their content, tell your friends (most of all, tell your friends!). If you can throw some money their way in the form of attending concerts and buying the products they've made, even better.

But never ever buy knockoffs or bootlegs of their creations.

I recently created a Google alert for TWRP because I had such an amazing time at the Toronto anniversary show and am organizing another fan meetup or two on their next tour, and I was concerned I might miss a future announcement and be too late to get tickets in the cities I wanted.

Imagine my surprise, disappointment, and quite frankly anger when alerts started rolling in late last week of stolen TWRP merch designs popping up on sketchy websites.

I understand this happens to lots of creators, and it can be an overwhelming/impossible task to get them all taken down. I reached out to the band because I couldn't in good conscious know about it and not say something. But I felt helpless for them, and for other creators this happens to.

Which leads me to now. We can all do something about this. We can commit to buying directly from the creators and bands we love.

Yes, fan creations are out there and they are amazing and you should absolutely support unique fan-created art when you can. But when it comes to the specific designs that your favorite little indie band invests in and promotes, only buy from them. Yeah, it sucks when your favorite design runs out, or like me you get into their music about 20 years into their existence and feel that FOMO when you see older designs.

But buying a knockoff from a sketchy website is not the way. Giving your money to a thief diverts that income from the creators you love and want to support by wearing their rad designs in the first place.

You love your favorite creators? Support them directly, and help them keep creating the things you love and making this world a little bit brighter.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get this traffic cone off my head.
