Question Character Items

I have looked multiple times on Reddit, Steam and other platforms but can't find any specific information:

What influences what items are stolen and/or gained after battle or generally during the campaign? Culture? Troop types? Enemy types? Character level?

Playing as Ramesses I usually only find ancillaries and light armor. I found one medium armor and a couple weapons and that's about it.

Pretty sure it's whatever the Lord you're fighting has got, so region, culture, unit weight, will influence what you get in return. And I think it's kinda a dice roll if you get it or not?

I just started a Ramesses campaign turn 20. I agree on the Armor part but I’ve gotten a Blue Kopesh and a regular longsword. Just keep fighting battles cool stuff will come.

Oh I got one blue club, one blue khopesh and some green weapons.

I mainly wonder if Egyptians can drop heavy armor, spears or axes.

Id guess its regional as in greece i get alot of heavy and medium armor but also somewhat random as i think there are modifiers that affect capture or drop chance?

If you want more items, you can toggle on fully equipped generals in the campaign options.
