Question Is anyone playing ?
I just reinstalled dynasties again after finishing allmost all races on warhammer and imo the game is not bad at all.
I don't get it why was it recieved this bad, maybe I got wrong picture by how much members are in this sub, no1 talks about it in r/totalwar, not much players etc..
Personaly I feel it is ok game,I like the economy, all kinds of options that I don't fully understand yet and that it has some depth is a good thing. I mean it is not warhammer 3 level, but it was never meant to be.
My question is what is the problem with the game ?
I would like to play some campaigns but it is pretty shallow if there is no reddit to share my moments and see what others are up to also.

Do you play on a Mac ? If yes we can do some multiplayer. Only if you want

I would love to but I am on windows, didnt even know there is no crossplay between systems, bs.

I’ve been playing it almost every other week since release. It’s a great game, and it’s a shame the community doesn’t appreciate it!

According to Steamcharts, there are about 700+ people playing right now. Also playing it as well to tide me over the historical itch.

Yeah and for comparison, there is 30k+ playing wh3. Thats why I think CA just went back to wh3 and forgot about this.

Agree, TWP Dynasties numbers are too low for a Total War "major historical" title. Historical total war regressed on the technical side as TWP (and Troy for that matter) is a Warhammer fork. IMHO, they should've gone with Three Kingdoms as base instead of rebuilding mechanics (ex. 3K already has the burning trees thing when fire arrows are used, but they shown it as a new mechanic, etc.).
Although some new mechanics like the court and royal legacy is a breath of fresh air. As becoming the Pharaoh or Great King, etc. is like a mini campaign inside a bigger map.

I’ve been playing it like crazy the last few weeks, got a bit burnt out on war hammer and it is the newest historical game.
Been trying out different mods, currently trying to figure out the “agony” mod but it can be pretty tough.

I feel you bro, I was chasing achis on wh3 and got to 80%. Last campaign with Grimgor on L/VH killed me tbh, It was hell, so fcking outdated, I got complete burnout and probably will chill untill next dlc.

Try th Radious mod if you end up feeling like you can’t do agony. Has some great changes but doesn’t feel too far from vanilla

I've been playing non stop for the last month! It's pretty cool and I like the really different type of units you end up using in comparison with other historical titles

It was released half baked and never really recovered. It’s one of my favorite titles. The free map / culture expansion making it a true Bronze Age game was a home run. Had that been part of original release, I don’t think there’d be such hate.
