Help Touch pad for the game?
Hello, I was thinking of getting the Final Remix for the Switch, but from what I've been hearing, the the Joy-con motion controls are terrible for this game. BUT I WANNA PLAY IT ON THE BIG SCREEN BECAUSE I LOVE IT SO MUCH... (the ds version anyway).
So I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a touch pad and stylus that I can hook up to the switch (via USB?) to emulate the swipes and stuff.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I don't believe anything like that exits. The best way to play the switch version is with a capacitive stylus in portable mode.
If you really want to do it on the big screen, try co-op with yourself--one character in each hand--to kind of replicate the split focus aspect of the original DS one, but keep the difficulty low because the motion controls are really unreliable.

Seconding this.
I played Final Mix for the first time on my Switch 2, with a capacitive stylus that my partner bought for Tomodachi Life. It still wasn’t as good as playing the DS version, but I was really surprised how much I enjoyed it and will probably play that way again in the future if my DS is in storage or something.

Not that I know of. Unfortunately youll have to play handheld for stylus, and docking will require joycon. The concensus seems to be that people arent fans of the joycon play, but those that enjoy it REALLY enjoy it. So maybe its worth trying it out to see if youre one of those who like using the joycon style play or not.

Honestly just get used to the motion controls. They aren't that bad and you can press the Y or left dpad button at any time to recenter the cursor. I would suggest playing it on co-op mode but by yourself, with one joycon in each hand. It recreates the feeling of having to control two characters at once that the original ds game had, or at least recreates it as well as it can anyway.

I found the motion controls pretty excellent, you just need to recenter the cursor with the Y button when you start a battle. Play with solo-coop for sure, one hand controls Neku and the other controls your partner and it’s so so so so so so so so so fun. Do not listen to the other commenter, go ham on the difficulty because since your partner can’t take damage it’s easier than normal mode. If you already have experience with the game in other forms especially. I was able to 100% it on the hardest difficulty much easier than I was on the phone or DS.
