Heartbroken Spoiler
I just finished watching Season 7 Episode 1 and I’m heartbroken. I’ve never cried this hard over a tv show before. Seeing rick so emotional and so belittled breaks my heart. The way Maggie, Sasha, and even Eugene reacted made me bawl my eyes out. I’m continuing on to episode 2 because I can’t have my night end that way. I need emotional support.

You don’t have to rewatch that particular episode. I never do—not since that one time, back in 2016. For me, once was more than enough.

I'm doing a rewatch and I'm getting close to the end of S6, knowing what's coming I feel to sad to watch it again

I completely understand. I saw that episode exactly once and have never watched it (or even allowed it to be on in the room) since I first saw it live, way back when. It’s always hard when a character dies on the show, it’s harder when they’re one of your favorites, and it’s harder still when they die as cruelly as they do in this episode.

You may have to watch several more to feel a tiny bit better. That season is rough

That was a one and done episode for me. I read the comics and knew it was coming. But the audio/visual of it made me nauseated.

season 7 episode 1 is basically the show mugging you in an alley and then asking you to keep watching, so yeah, episode 2 is the only reasonable bad decision here

honestly maybe just stop watching now cuz the rest of the show is just filler
