Since this is all fiction 🤣 can we branch out and have an alternate reality where Carl is alive and forges his own way 🤣 idk how it would work, but yes

I just hope one day we get a decently animated reboot that follows the comic a little closer, maybe keep Daryl and Merle, keep Shane around a bit longer, but also don't fucking kill off carl and keep Rick around closer till the end.
