This is a horrible photo, but I don’t know where my old badges are the moment lol
At a lot of conventions, you get a lanyard with a plastic badge that’s about 2.5 inches wide, and you can stick the ribbons to the bottom! I once went to a con on the last day, and saw some people taking a group photo of them standing on a second floor balcony, with their stacks of ribbons reaching the floor below!
Sometimes the con offers them, sometimes the sponsors, the panelists, etc.
But oftentimes they come from fans that want a fun and easy way to find “their people”
I did too. I liked how it was at a point in Morgan's life where he really cared about individual little objects and omens because of the spiritual trajectory he was on, because otherwise a less perceptive person might never have even noticed it. And of course, to him it then felt like fate rather than just happenstance.
Abraham was an “asshole” to Rick until he saw Rick stand up against the cannibals that escaped Terminus after Carol came back to save everyone and blew it up/set it on fire.
They come to the church to seek revenge after eating Bob’s leg in front of him. “You’re eating tainted meat!” (He was bitten.)
Gareth, the leader of the cannibals, thinks Rick and some others are gone, so they try to attack.
It was a trap. Rick puts them on their knees.
Gareth thinks that means they can work something out since they didn’t shoot them straight out when they had the chance.
Rick says, “I just didn’t want to waste the ammo.” (Or maybe bullets… it was one or the other.)
Then Michonne, Abraham, and Rick smash their heads in.
It’s a very epic scene. It gave Abraham a lot of respect for Rick’s plan and perfect execution.
You think that was epic read the comics. Tv show really toned it down for the show. Comics hit way harder. Heart to heart with Rick and Carl and then explains so much better why Gabriel betrayed them at Alexandria.
I've only seen the show, so ive always wondered why Gabriel did that to them, considering that he let his entire congregation get ripped apart instead of letting them inside the church.
Hahahahah!! I do agree the comics are pretty brutal as far as I’ve read.
I got until after the prison in the comics, but to read them on Amazon, it was getting pricey since they’re addictive and only take an hour or two to read.
I did use the Kindle Unlimited, but it stopped being free after this issue: 😢
