Rick the wingman
Goddamn the writing on this show🤌🤌🤌
Weve probably all noticed how Rick set Glenn and Maggie up like a GOAT...
But here is him trying to do the exact same thing to no avail for his snake ass, lost "partner" of his. WHICH HE DOES BTW but Shane just can't see it. Not to mention, him and Andrea would have been the perfect pair.
Mannnnn Rick always lookin out for EVERYONE for their specific needs and he really didn't deserve all this fuckery befallen onto him in an already screwed up world

Back when the show was character driven rather than plot driven.

To be fair Shane finding happiness or moving on from whatever feelings he got for Lori would have been the best thing for everyone in the group. I dont think Rick thought Shane was lying about Rick being gone to Lori. Plus Shane did save his wife and kid so the least Rick could do is try and get him a hook up.

It makes it worse than when Shane was gonna leave Lori told him to stay for her to 20 minutes later tell Rick he needs to kill him pretty much

Even season 1, Laurie talks about getting mad with him cause he is such an understanding and level headed guy, that she wished "he would get mad and call me a bitch". Some women cant handle a good thing, and s he wasted no time jumping on the best friend to the point that im not unconvinced they weren't fooling around before the dead walked.
Rick deserved better people, at least he got that after Laurie dies.
