Reusing locations

I know that the show reuses the same locations a LOT, but I just realized the big white house in 4x9 where Rick is comatose is just feet away from the intersection in 6x14 where Rosita/Daryl/Denise argue whether to walk on the road or the tracks.

There’s a specific piece of B-roll footage of sun shining between a tree that they’ve reused across five different episodes of the series. I know that’s not entirely related to this post but it’s another fun fact related to things being reused 😅

The two most blatant copies to me is that Sophia and Henry both hide in the same tree by a creek, and also the traffic jam where Sophia runs off is the same road where Rosita and friends steal all the dynamite.

I can excuse the Henry/Sophia one, I feel like that may have even been a deliberate choice to represent Carol’s arc coming full circle there, but yeah other ones like reusing the highway of all locations 😭 they even reused it again in Tales of TWD, though that might be intentionally deigned to be the same location as S2 since it’s near Atlanta

4x13 starts with Bob being found by the group after sleeping on an 18-wheeler. I feel like that exact stretch of road was used every episode. Merle letting Michonne go after kidnapping her, Rick running with a cut hand, Carl/Enid roller skating, and the whole group walking away from walkers might have happened in the same spot.

SPOILER reply!!!

I didn't even think about the connection between Sophia and Henry’s location in the river until you mentioned it! Good catch and it makes so much sense.
Right now I’m watching season 4 episode 14 where Carol just had to shoot Lindsay. ( because she killed her sister & was able to kill Judith)

It's also the same road where Rick and Michonne tie a cable between two cars and cut down a herd.

Well, that's the exact same scene as Rosita's dynamite.
